“Spider pulsars” have been studied in the Omega Centauri globular cluster.

These are rapidly spinning collapsed stars that prey on nearby companion stars.

Researchers used radio telescopes and NASA’s Chandra to find these unusual objects.

The combined data are revealing how spider pulsars destroy their stellar mates.
