In this short, I show an easy way to create quick shading/highlights in Adobe Animate by selecting part of a shape’s fill and adjusting the color—no complicated gradients required.

Workflow:
Use the Lasso Tool to select a specific area of the fill, switch back to the Selection Tool, then tweak the color/brightness until it looks right.
