Seattle Dash Cam Videos I thought this person had just left their blinker on, but after the solid line between lanes they just merge into me and I didn't realize it until it was too late. She hit me hard enough that she bounced across all lanes of I-5 and ended up on the opposite shoulder.

After bouncing across all lanes of traffic she was stuck on the small shoulder of the left lane. She got out of her car and was pacing around. I shouted over to her to try to get her to come to the right shoulder where she wouldn't be blocking traffic, but she was too shaken to move her car.

I had to cross all lanes of traffic to get to her so we could exchange information. She was driving a rental car from Florida and didn't have the insurance information for that, didn't have her drivers license on her either and could only show me a picture of it. Then the next morning I wake up to a text from her saying she was going out of the country and her phone would be turned off while she was gone.

I submitted a claim for the damage to my insurance and they were eventually able to get reimbursement from the rental car company. A similar situation happened like this about a year earlier that caused me to get these new dash cams to begin with. That time the woman who hit me told insurance I merged into her, and her insurance denied my claim since I didn't have any proof.
