At one point, I ran into some heavy traffic. The traffic would come nearly to a stop for awhile, then it would clear up, we would get back to speed, and then suddenly it would back up again, quite quickly. As a rider, this was scary, I worried about what was happening in front of me, as well as what was happening behind me. I am not selling it to buy a trailer, nor am I selling it to buy a Pop up camper. I am selling the Vstrom because I have started riding in places that are a little tougher than what I usually ride. I have finally been convinced, I should get a bike that's a bit more capable on the off pavement riding I have found myself riding recently. This is not an easy decision, I love this bike, and I am worried that as soon as I sellit, I will not be riding the tougher trails anymore, and I won't need the lighter bike!! The first goal is to try to raise funds for the STRIVE organization. This is a group of amazing folks based out of Ohio that work tirelessly to try to help Veterans that are dealing with issues on a personal level. On average, 22 Veterans take their own lives every day. That is the second goal of the ride, to raise awareness to the fact that we are losing that many veterans every day. This video was recorded just this past Tuesday, not a month or two ago!! I was using a new to me Go Pro Hero 3, and I wanted to see how well it worked on the Honda Goldwing as I went to a bike night here in Asheville NC. I am not sure how often I will use 3 cameras, it certainly adds to the editing process, but it's kind of cool to have it when I might want to try for a couple of different camera angles.
