Ocarina of Time 100% VC (Eyedrops BA) Tutorial Part 2/3 (Child 2 and Adult 2) Chris Wasnetsky 2018-09-08 | Hi and welcome to Part 2 of 3 of my tutorial for 100%. This route is the current fastest route (as of September 2018) for the VC console. This route cannot be performed on N64. This tutorial covers the middle section of the run (Child 2 and Adult 2). I am currently working on part 3 and it will be out soon. After part 3 is completed, I plan to make a separate video of common tricks used throughout the run and plan to go over them more in depth than I do in this tutorial (e.g. supersliding, hessing, weirdshots, explanation of BA and RBA, etc). If you are confused about these parts, check out that video when it comes out.If you are practicing on emulator I believe you can do this route. You want to grab the ROM from #resources in the Discord and you will have version 1.2 (needed for Ass Chest to give you Spooky Mask). I also believe Deku Sticks as Adult doesn't crash, you may have to change your video plugin if it does crash. I will try to update this more as I learn more.I organized this tutorial so that it keeps track of skulltula count and heart pieces. If the skulltule count doesn't update directly after getting a skulltula in the video, it's most likely because I am explaining different routes and I will update the count after both explanations are finished. The vast majority of the run has the correct number of hearts at the top of the screen but I did add in a few clips after the fact (because I forgot to mention something) and those healths might be off. The hearts in the bottom left of the video represent the heart pieces you should have at this point in the run.I tried to go as much in detail as I could without going overboard (this is going to be a long series, probably at least 12 hours, I can't spend a ton of time on every little thing) but if anything is unclear, you can either ask in the comment section here for better clarification or for a more immediate response ask in the OoT discord.The next installment will cover Child 3 and Adult 3. (MQ) Low% All Dungeons Speedrun in 2:32:55 Chris Wasnetsky 2022-01-15 | This run aims to beat all the dungeons in Master Quest with the fewest number of items as possible. Currently this run has 17 items (Deku Stick, Bombchus, Bottle, Hammer, Boomerasng, Master Sword, Hylian Shield, Mirror Shield, 3 Spiritual Stones and 6 Medallions). This run gets 1 extra item (Hylian Shield) compared to vanilla Low% AD because the inside of MQ spirit is not conducive to low%, so a guay hover is done instead.Since there are only a finite number of bombchus available (I get 35 in this run), it is important to do bombchu tricks on the first attempt in order to not waste any. In my route I have 3 spare chus and I used 2 spare chus in my run (one in Shadow and one in Fire).I think the route skips as much overworld travel as it can. You enter adult with 5 chus, so you want to go to Jabu as soon as possible to give yourself 10 more chus. By filling up the lake, you can go to Jabu with no bombchus. The final 3 dungeons are locked in place to minimize travel. Shadow has to be after Spirit to avoid going into LACS when you savewarp after Spirit. Finally, DCWW takes you almost to Spirit and it skips a cs.Both Spirit and Forest cutscenes are watched to skip songs. Bolero is also skipped by megasidehopping past the bridge. Minuet is skipped by WWing from Fire to Forest. Finally, Bow and Light Arrows are skipped by WWing from Deku to collapse.Quick Putaway (QPA) is used frequently in this run. The trick is done by putting away stick either 2 frames before taking damage or 2 frames before slowly walking off an edge and getting broken stick afterwards. QPA has some glitched damage values that are used in the run to freeze blades, activate cows, light torches, or burn webs. QPA is also used to damage PG in the first phase (this allows hookshot to be skipped) and to knock down flare dancer (boomerang is used to prevent having to get QPA again between phases).The hardest temple in the run by far is Spirit. Performing the guay hover (QPA is used to prevent killing the guay) to get Mirror Shield and then doing statue climb in an unloaded room. Once again, Spirit is not conducive to low% strats.This run is far from perfect, but I'm happy with this time. I made mistakes in the run, but the hardest dungeon (Spirit) was pretty much first try. You can easily lose minutes in Spirit. Ocarina of Time Low% RDO Sppedrun in 2:26:40 Chris Wasnetsky 2021-12-05 | The run lost about 3:30 on 2 splits (Shadow Temple and Enter Deku). Besides those 2 splits, there was just minor timeloss throughout the run. This run has very similar tricks to low% AD, so if you want to see a faster (less overworld movement because dungeon order isn't locked) and cleaner run, watch that run.There's not much to say route-wise because the dungeon order is locked except for when to get bombchus from Ganon's castle. It needs to be done before defeating Shadow Temple (otherwise the savewarp to get back to ToT would activate LACS). I chose to do it after Spirit so that it is night for GF (guards' eyesight is worse at night).Similarly, I get blue fire from Ice Cavern to edo reverse KZ. If I save warped to escape ZF, I would activate LACS.And, just like low% AD, this route skips hookshot and phantom Ganon is defeated with a QPA hover.

However, a new trick called Quick Putaway (QPA) is used to hit PG in the first phase. This is done by getting ISG with QPA active and hovering up in the middle of the arena so that the ISG hits PG as he flies across the room.RDO stands for Reverse Dungeon Order and the requirements are that you beat the dungeons in reverse order (spirit, shadow, ... , deku) and beat the game. You also must not enter a dungeon prematurely (for example entering DC for bombs and leaving). Mini dungeons such as BotW and IC may be entered at any time.Funnily enough this is also the WR for Low% AD because the current submitted WR has 17 items, of which this run beats. Phasntom Ganondorf without Hookshot/Bow (QPA Chu Hovering) Chris Wasnetsky 2021-02-24 | This setup usually works and certainly isn't position dependent. To get QPA, stand in the center of the ring and put away stick the frame before the screen flashes (first frame a "ball" appears on the ground). You want to pull chu for the initial hover early enough so that you are able to backflip into the lightning damage and it doesn't prevent you from backflipping.

The main difference is that this route hovers over the gap in water, does water bk skip, and uses no chus in shadow trial. zfg did the opposite: Used no chus in water and hovered in shadow trial.zfg's run has commentary if you want to learn more about the run itself. The item count is the same, it's just that the adult routes are very different.
