In conjunction with City of Cinema: Paris 1850–1907, LACMA presents a Q&A between Bill Morrison, director of Dawson City: Frozen Time and LACMA curator Britt Salvesen. Dawson City: Frozen Time depicts the unique history of this Canadian Gold Rush town by chronicling the life cycle of a singular film collection through its exile, burial, rediscovery, and salvation. City of Cinema: Paris 1850–1907 is on view at LACMA February 20–July 10, 2022.
