Road to the FASTEST 13 Macbook Pro [M4 SSD + 16GB RAM] everyone ♥ everyone 2013-02-14 | **UPDATE: I recently did another upgrade. I put a Samsung 850 EVO 500gb SSD to replace my M4 and it's now MUCH FASTER. I highly recommend the 850 EVO! I put the M4 in the optical bay using OWC Data Doubler. MUCH FASTER read and write speeds than Optibay brand. I may do another video just to help others decide which product to buy. I am very pleased with my results.**I recently replaced my stock Macbook Pro early 2011 model that had a 320GB 5400 rpm hard drive and 4GB RAM with Crucial's M4 256GB SSD and 16GB RAM and it's EXTREMELY FAST!I will recommend this upgrade to hardcore users ESPECIALLY!If you multitask a lot, or use CPU intensive software like: Photoshop, Lightroom, Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Final Cut, iMovie, Parallels etc.... THIS WILL BE HIGHLY BENEFICIAL TO YOU!8GB RAM may be enough for you, but it wasn't for me... I was having page outs over 5GB daily... 16GB is plenty NOW!At Crucial.com the M4 256 GB SSD is around $200 and the 16GB RAM is around $100.Get whatever reliable brand you want, but Crucial hasn't let me down yet... 2012 Intense Nashville Summer Lightening Storm! everyone ♥ everyone 2013-01-10 | I recorded this storm from my apartment in west Nashville, TN in the summer of 2012 over a 2 hour period. The opening sequence is a 30 minute sunset clip compressed into about 10 seconds. The lightening was edited so that it appears as a continuous storm. I added a thermal effect to the video.
