Sorting out the Holden VR Calais over heating problems Down the shed with Byron 2024-03-02 | The good old Holden VR Calais that ive had for 20 years has come over from Adelaide to Perth and now we have a shopping list of jobs to do on it.One of those jobs is to sort out the cooling system thats over heating unload but cruising around town its not a drama.I start off by having a looking over the system and checking levels.After finding low engine oil, over filled transmission oil and low coolant we drop the temps.Then testing the thermostat which tested ok i fitted the new radiator cap which i think fixed some of the problem after that test drive replaced the radiator which we then got a 10 deg difference between top and bottom hose.With all these fixes ghe cooling system is running sweet now time to move on to the other jobs hope you enjoyed the video 👍Would you like to help us out grab your self some Down the shed with Byron Merch 👇👇https://three3s.com.au/creators/down-the-shed-with-byron/#holden #overheating #commodore
