All Is Gone... StormRedDesert 2012-10-07 | All is gone... so it seems.Every hard drive eventually fails, it's just a matter of time. When I started off video editing, I bought an external hard drive to keep all of my clips on since they were slowing down my old laptop. I treated my external hard drive much more as a flash drive than the delicate hard drive it was.Well, to get to the main point, a week ago my stupid external hard drive died on me. I am no longer able to access any of my Sonic clips, songs, or pictures that I kept on there. This is a huge problem since without any of that stuff I am unable to video edit anymore. I could try to get the data recovered, but it would cost over $1000. Instead I am going to try to re-download everything that I lost. This is going to take forever...EDIT: Although I wasn't able to restore my old files, I was successful in downloading new ones. This means I am now able to video edit again!
