Ozzie 2025-02-27 | Hello! This was my live playthrough of LZJ's Galaxy Trip by liuzijun.

Review: This hack is a real mixed bag for me so I'm just gonna talk about each overworld.

OW1: This overworld was really enjoyable. Nothing was really difficult here and was decent casual difficulty.

OW2: This overworld is fine but some annoying stars showed up like C5's Treasure inside the big tree star due to flyguy rng, C7's Inside the volcano due to a non retryable ending which i choked multiple times, C8's Through the Sandy Desert + Speedrun for star 6 due to EXTREMELY shit collision on the spinning things (1:46:25)

OW3: This overworld was really fun aside from C11. Almost every star in this level pissed me off for different reasons. Don't even get me started on the 80 coin star taking over 40 minutes.

OW4: This is where I really started disliking this hack. Every level in this overworld made me want to explode with rage. C13 is literally just blind and has some terrible design choices in it as well as a really annoying red coin star which took over a hour. C14 is just a buffed boss level which would be fine if the stars were fun but sadly, that isn't the case. Most stars here were just annoying. C15 is my least favorite level in this entire hack. Star 2 is just enemy spam with flame throwers that took me 45 minutes to do. It is horrible. Star 5 might be one of my hardest stars I've done. It took me 3 different days of attempts to get. Just watch the entire star and you will understand why It took so long. (As well as this clip: twitch.tv/ozsef/clip/ColdIronicElephantRaccAttack-aVVfkdj0BR9ZaGXK ) The edge of the universe star was fine since the pipes act as checkpoints but I still don't understand why the 80 coin star for C13 was hidden in it.

Overall, If you play this. Just skip OW4 and you will probably have more fun with it. I hope liuzijun makes more casual or light kaizo stuff in the future bc I feel like he could cook something good in that difficulty range but this hack just wasn't it.

Review: This was probably one of the hardest slide hacks mainly because of a few levels. B1 was the hardest level because of the square rotating platforms since they were sloped and moved. I choked 5 attempts to the last set of them. C8 was also a little challenging because of how the level is. You can get softlocked in some spots.

Ozzie 2025-01-20 | Hello! This was my live playthrough of Japanese Community Battle Hack by Chippaku, Kasen, Mokkyun, Mule, Nuwitch, Ozark, sill, Stranger, Tenori, Tottori, Ura, YuKa5963.

Review: I feel like I just didn't enjoy this as much as others for kind of a dumb reason. I played all the easy levels first then had 4 hard levels left at the end which genuinely pissed me off on multiple different stars. The stars are creative but I just kept skill issuing on random stars which also played a factor. My favorite level was EASILY Nuwitch's level. I hope he makes more like it. I beat it in just a hour. My least favorite was probably Mules level. It just felt like I was playing a level by viper. It felt really unpolished and had some REALLY annoying stuff in it like the first star i did having that really bad chuckya placement. You could see from my little chat popoff that i just hated that star. (also sorry mule, i didn't mean it Scared). Overall, I think this hack is fine. I just didn't like most of the stars in it.

Review: Very enjoyable game. I really enjoyed the textboxes in this bc it felt like it was written by the girls themselves. The music was also very good. I did struggle a bit on the plush IRyS boss because the laser felt really jank to avoid and then once I got to the WARNING part. I didn't have enough health to survive. I definitely recommend playing this game.

Review: I'm very mixed on this hack. I will say, it is a very VERY good hack but some levels feel so unfun that it ruins the gameplay a bit. (It also could be that I just don't know the original IP's used) This hack also suffers a lot with bugs in certain levels like the backgrounds being messed up or things like enemies being invincible for unknown reasons. (like the cop / swat enemies in that roof level) I will also say, I didn't even use certain abilities since some felt very limited. Lastly, I wanna talk about the final boss in this hack. I fucking hated it. It was so tilting trying to figure out what to do with no help. I spent over a hour on this boss alone. There should of been coins or something added to it aswell bc only being able to heal once from the milk was just poor design.

Overall, I think this hack is decent but it needs a lot of qol and fixes added because in its current state. It's pretty meh for me.

Also spk if you see this. PLEASE MAKE MORE POKEMON LEVELS. THAT LEVEL WAS AMAZING.

Review: SR6 was fine. A few levels were a bit annoying like c4, c9 & 10, and c15. Everything else was fine. I just found it kind of boring because I find OG sr6 boring.

6.5 was mostly the same as 6. C4 and c9 were the hardest main levels but they don't even come close to the race level. The race is easily a kaizo star, You have to play PERFECTLY to even win the race. one mistake and you have to restart the race. It also was pretty annoying since every reset you have to mash throught the dialog.

Crash Testing - Slider Revenge 1.5: Slide Takeover Redone (Savestateless)

Ozzie 2024-10-25 | Hello! This was my live playthrough of Crash Testing - Slider Revenge 1.5: Slide Takeover Redone by LinCrash (and Brodute).

Review: Star Revenge 1.5 but every slope is slippery. Easily my least favorite slippery hack so far. It was pretty much the same as sr1 but had some harder levels with the slopes. C11 is easily the hardest level. There are so many hard jumps and 1 star had a insanely hard ending with a fire spitter.
