Can I Save My Miata’s Engine After 2,000 Miles of Misfires? mellow_conner 2026-04-15 | Hi everyone, today we are going to see if we can bring the Miata back to life after a very rough end to the road trip. For the final 2,000 I was dealing with what was presumably fuel injector issue causing misfires in the lower rpms. Today we got ourselves a denso fuel injector rebuild kit and will see if we can get the problem sorted out. I have no experience rebuilding fuel injectors, but it ain't that bad!
