I Like Giants is a student/fan-made animated music video to Kimya Dawson's song by the same name, directed by myself and my friend N. González!The music video explores the same feelings of loneliness and hope the song mentions, but this time is told through a bunny named Duna and her girlfriend, a black cat called Genevieve.Both Duna and Genevieve explore the world around them and, even though they feel constantly overwhelmed, they learn to see the beauty around them and how everything and everyone provides to the whole, no matter how big or small. The footage was taken by Kat, Reyna, and Selene. Burn Out - Animated Short Film king skyless 2021-04-22 | - non-spanish speakers: turn on cc! BURN OUT is an animated student short film directed by my friend N. González. This film tells the story of an artist called Rizzo, who creates mice with their magic. However, Rizzo quickly grows stressed upon seeing their friends creating much more bigger and prettier creatures. Rizzo must learn to love their art and their creative process and not to push themself to the breaking point. They must not burn themselves out. BEHIND THE SCENES:The idea of the film was done by N, while I fleshed out the script and storyboard along with N. As you can tell by now, the story is inspired by the burnout syndrome, often found in artists. Visual development was done by N, Michelle, Kat, and myself, while character design was done by N and Michelle. N and I worked as the sole animators. Our friends, Michelle and Kat were responsible for background art!The soundtrack is completely original, composed by our teammate and friend Alberto Osuna. REFLEJO - Animated Short Film king skyless 2020-10-31 | Happy Samhain/Halloween/Whatever you celebrate!REFLEJO (eng. "Reflection") is an animated student short film directed by my friend N. González. It tells the story of Amelia, who is haunted by strange dreams and shadows after the passing of her twin sister, Delilah.BEHIND THE SCENES:The initial idea for the story was presented by N. themself, and it got completely fleshed out by Alba Vizcarra and Jennyfer Guardado. I wrote the script myself afterwards.N and I worked as head animators with our friend Michelle Arvizu helping us out on additional animation. I was also responsible for color keying every scene and keeping everything consistent, while Michelle and N were background artists! Sound and Music do not fall behind, the soundtrack is completely original, composed by our teammate (and friend ily) Alberto Osuna and Angel Sánchez. Our other teammate and bae Ninochkat Uriarte worked on special sound effects and noises and helped out with visual development as well. FUN FACTS:- We did this all in...a month and a half?- It's been finished since August 19th, 2020.
