Within its pages, you will find history, poetry, proverbs, parables, laws, names, nations, places, principles, prophecy, and the list goes on and on.With all of that information, it can be easy to not know where to begin.And with so many preachers and teachers out there who disagree, Bible study can seem intimidating.So in this video, we’ll go through 4 easy to follow keys to revolutionize your Bible study!Following these 4 keys will help you discover and better understand the wonderful truth the Bible has to offer.And please, don’t just believe us, but look up these verses in your own Bible!Okay, let’s get started…First we need to… # 1 - Pray for UnderstandingAsking God to open our minds to understand His Word BEFORE we open our Bible to study, will pay dividends.The Bible emphasizes the need for a teachable attitude (James 4:6-7; Prov. 1:7).Jesus said, “learn from me” (Matt. 11:29) and “take heed how you hear” (Luke 8:18).So the first key is to approach Bible study with the right attitude and humbly ask God to fill us with knowledge and understanding (Col. 1:9).God blesses those who respect the scriptures and revere His holy word.As we are told in Isaiah 66:2, “But on this one will I look: On him who is poor and of a contrite spirit, and who trembles at My word.”If we humble ourselves in prayer and ask God for understanding, we will be on the path to better understanding His word.We should ask God, as David did, “Show me Your ways, O Lord; teach me Your paths. Lead me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; on You I wait all the day” (Psalm 25:4-5).Key #2 - Keep It in ContextA singular or partial verse taken out of context can be easily misunderstood.To keep a verse 'in context' means that the meaning is understood not only by the actual words in the verse, but also within the overall message of the chapter and book.So it is important to read all the scriptures around a verse you are studying.Dissecting the Bible to fit personal emotions and perspectives will lead to misunderstanding.We must be careful not to read our opinions, perspectives, and ideas into the Bible.For example, if we are going through a tough time, we may try to comfort ourselves with Romans 8:28 which says, “...all things work together for good…”That sounds wonderful on the surface, but it could lead us to justify some pretty bad behavior. Let's read the entire verse for the full context, “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”If we want things to work together for good, then we have to love God.Well… what does it mean to “love God”?This brings us to Key # 3 - Study All of the Related Scriptures on a TopicIf we want all things to work together for good, then we have to love God.So, how do we love God?1 John 5:3 explains, “For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.”Again, the Apostle wrote, “This is love, that we walk according to His commandments” (2 John 6).And Jesus said, “if you love Me, keep My commandments” (John 14:15) This reveals another layer of depth to Romans 8:28.If we want things to work together for good in our lives, then we need to love God by actively keeping His commandments.We cannot disobey God, and commit sin, and then expect everything to work out for the good.So studying the related scriptures will help us dig into the deeper meaning of a verse. And it will help us avoid false doctrines or misleading beliefs. God says His word needs to be understood piece by piece, bit by bit.He says, “For precept must be upon precept… line upon line… here a little, there a little.” (Isaiah 28:10)A full and proper understanding comes through studying all of the related Scriptures on a topic.Finally, to take your Bible study to the next level… # 4 - Prove ALL ThingsSimply following claims of what the Bible teaches is not enough.1 Thessalonians 5:21 tells us to, “Test all things; hold fast what is good.”Or as the KJV says, “Prove all things….”But how can we test whether a teaching is Biblical or not?Well… one way is to follow the Berean’s example mentioned in Acts 17. When Paul and Silas preached in Berea, the people there “received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so.” (Acts 17:11).Checking up to make sure the Bible says what is being taught is very important because the Bible warns of false teachers & deceptive ministers (2 Cor. 11:13-15; 2 Tim. 4:3-4;1 Peter 2:1-2; Jude 1:4).Many will simply go along with the crowd and accept what they hear.

According to Bishop Mike Royal:In many communities, he said, religion was more important than ever. Sixty per cent of people in church in London, on any given Sunday, were black. There was a “huge explosion” of black-majority black-led churches and the Nigerian-led Redeemed Christian Church of God was the fastest growing denomination in the UK.According to this same source, the census is expected to show the following changes over the last decade.In 2011, the census showed 59 per cent said they were Christian, 25 per cent no religion and 5 per cent Muslim.But in 2021,It is widely expected that the number identifying as Christian may dip below 50 per cent and the number ticking the non-religion box will rise.Overall, whether the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia, Canada, or the United States, secularism is on the rise and religion, especially organized “Christian” religion, is in decline.Some think this is a good thing, and the idea is not new. In the first portion of that chapter, we read of the Beast of Revelation—used to refer to both an individual and the political entity he controls, a world-ruling, end-time, Satan-inspired political entity that will possess astonishing economic and military power. On our program, we often refer to this entity as the “Beast power,” and verse 4 of Revelation 13 says, “they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, ‘Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?’”We will read more about this Beast today, since his role in the end times is intimately entwined with the False Prophet’s. However, Revelation 13 then speaks of a SECOND beast. We read about this separate person, symbolized by a second beast, beginning in verse 11:“Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon.”THIS beast is the partner of the Beast of Revelation mentioned just before, and is called elsewhere the False Prophet! And this description given in verse 11 is crucial to understanding his nature! Notice, he LOOKS like a lamb, Jesus Christ, but SPEAKS like the dragon, Satan the Devil! If one LISTENS CAREFULLY to his teachings and doctrines, one can discern that they are the teachings not of Christ, but of the Devil.But please note: That doesn’t mean that those teachings are OBVIOUSLY evil! Satan is the master of deception, and the old King James Version of the Bible says of Satan in Genesis 3:1, “the serpent was MORE SUBTIL than any beast of the field….”His twists of true, biblical doctrine are subtle, hard to discern, and convincing.In addition to describing his teachings, Revelation 13 continues:“He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon built one of the designated “Seven Wonders of the World,” the Hanging Gardens of Babylon. The historian Herodotus wrote, “In addition to its size, Babylon surpasses in splendor any city in the known world.”The Bible documents the King’s great pride and boasting over his accomplishments. The prophet Daniel had warned the king to humble himself.“At the end of the twelve months he [King Nebuchadnezzar] was walking about the royal palace of Babylon. The king spoke, saying, ‘Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for a royal dwelling by my mighty power and for the honor of my majesty?’” (Daniel 4:29–30).God punished King Nebuchadnezzar, who finally learned his lesson:“Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, all of whose works are truth, and His ways justice. And those who walk in pride He is able to put down” (Daniel 4:37).The Nazi dictator Adolph Hitler, in his plan to rule the world, envisioned a world capital to last a thousand years. Albert Speer, Hitler’s architect for the future city, planned a Grand Hall next to the Reichstag that “would have been the largest enclosed space in the world, with a dome 16 times larger than that of St Peter’s in Rome” according to HistoryToday.com (“Germania: Hitler’s Dream Capital”).Of course, Hitler fell before the Allied armies in World War II.Bible prophecy reveals that another great dictator, called the “Beast” in the book of Revelation, will desire to rule the world and establish his own capital. As it tells us in Revelation 13:7,“And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation.”The good news is that the coming King of kings will conquer and destroy this coming Beast power (Revelation 17:14) and Jesus Christ will establish a righteous world capital city. What city will become the capital of the world? The Washington State capital in Olympia features glistening “marble quarried across the globe” according to one history magazine.“Ornately decorated, the Roman-Neoclassical legislative building is topped by the fifth-highest stone masonry dome in the world. Inside dangles a five-ton Tiffany chandelier so massive you could fit a VW Bug inside it” (“History, Architecture and Politics Combine in a Salem-to-Olympia Tour,” 1889mag.com, November 15, 2016).The state capital in Frankfort, Kentucky also features extraordinary marble columns and walls. Today we reviewed predictions and trends proclaimed by Tomorrow’s World the last two years. Then I said I would give you a single trend to watch in 2021 and the immediate years following. We cannot know the exact timing, but the trend is certain:[Trend]: There will be disaster upon disaster for America and the British descended peoplesNotice how the prophet Ezekiel describes what is ahead for the Anglosphere:Destruction comes; they will seek peace, but there shall be none. Disaster will come upon disaster, and rumor will be upon rumor. Then they will seek a vision from a prophet; but the law will perish from the priest, and counsel from the elders. “The king will mourn, the prince will be clothed with desolation, and the hands of the common people will tremble. I will do to them according to their way, and according to what they deserve I will judge them; then they shall know that I am the LORD!” (Ezekiel 7:25–27).How accurate was that single prediction of disaster coming upon disaster? A year later, I reviewed the major news of 2021, and as I mentioned at the time, in my more than 74 years of life, I couldn’t remember another year where there were so many stunning disasters stacked one upon another. But in case you forgot, let me briefly remind you of only a few that I recounted in that program:The consequences of the war on fossil fuelsThe historic winter storms that slammed Texas and the Central Plains statesThe crisis at America’s southern borderThe Delta variant and continuing COVID-19 pandemicMore died in 2021 than in the previous year.The humiliating manner in which America left AfghanistanThe breakdown in the supply chainInflationWorker shortages, and more…The list was hardly exhaustive. There were many more MAJOR devastating events! 2021 truly was an extraordinary year of disaster upon disaster!But what about our predictions for 2022? Let’s briefly look at those three predictions and see if they were on target.#1: When you think it cannot get any worse, it will!#2: Disaster upon disaster would continue#3: Rumor would be upon rumorThe last two are found in Ezekiel 7:25:Destruction comes; they will seek peace, but there shall be none. Has there ever been a time when rumors were more prevalent and widespread than what we see in social media? And don’t just believe us, but prove this for yourself and look up these verses in your own Bible!Okay, let's get started...Reason # 1 - Satan is actually the “god of this world.”Now, God is certainly the supreme Ruler over everything that exists (Ps. 93:1-2, 146:10; Is. 46:9). But in the beginning, God had given temporary authority over the earth to the archangel Lucifer, who then became Satan the Devil. Satan has since then deceived, influenced, and controlled this world, or this “age.” He has control over our world because, since the time of Adam and Eve, man has, in general, chosen to follow him instead of obeying God.For more detail on this topic watch our video, “Satan Rules this World” by clicking the link here.But here are just a few scriptures for reference:2 Cor 4:4 explicitly calls Satan the “god of this age.”Eph 2:2 calls him, “the prince of the power of the air...”And in three different places, Jesus actually referred to him as, “the ruler of the world.” (John 12:31, 14:30, 16:11)In fact, when Satan tried to tempt Jesus we see that Jesus did not refute Satan’s claim of authority over the world and its governments:“...the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. And he said to Him, “All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me.” (Matthew 4:8-9) Jesus did not argue against his point, rather He said, “Away with you Satan!... ‘You shall worship the LORD your God, and Him only you shall serve.’” (Matthew 4:10)And a final Scripture proving this point is Rev 12:9Here it calls him, “the great dragon… that serpent of old… the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world….”Satan is not deceiving a small few, but “the whole world.”Sadly, even most of Christianity is not an exception to this.2 Cor 11:14-15 says:“...For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.”The fact that Satan is the god of this world is critical to understanding why pain and suffering even exist to begin with. The vast majority of the world is under the sway of a wicked, malevolent being who causes corruption, destruction, and death.While God ultimately reigns supreme, He is allowing Satan to rule for a predetermined period of time. God has a greater eternal purpose for doing this. He wants mankind to know what happens when we go against His way of life.And the Bible makes it very clear that God will hold Satan accountable for the hurt and damage he has caused, and his rulership will come to an end.God has a plan to put an end to all pain and suffering and to rid the world of Satan’s influence, which we’ll cover in the last point. Reason # 2 - People experience pain and suffering because… The breaking of God’s laws has natural, unavoidable consequences.God is the One who established the rules and laws governing our world. And the Bible reveals He established this fundamental principle of life: Keeping His laws will naturally bring blessings, but breaking them brings negative consequences. God explained to His people, “I set before you today a blessing and a curse: the blessing if you obey the commandments of the LORD your God… and the curse, if you do not obey the commandments of the LORD your God, but turn aside from the way which I command you….” (Deut. 11:26-28)God does not want mankind to suffer.He wants all of mankind to come to know Him and to learn His way of life, to keep His laws, and to be blessed.That is why He has given us His Word, preserved in the Bible, which provides explicit instructions on how to avoid the consequences of sin. He records a way of life that leads to joy and peace.Of course, we may still experience trials and difficulties which we’ll discuss in the next point.But God’s way of life is one of love and harmony that will generally bring greater peace and happiness when we follow it.Mankind, however, has rejected the God of the Bible throughout history. If you have your Bible, turn to the Apocalypse, or the Book of Revelation, chapter one.The Apostle John writes in Revelation 1:10,“I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s Day, and I heard behind me a loud voice, as of a trumpet.”John is not speaking of a day of the week, as some commentators believe. John is speaking of the major prophetic period of time described in the rest of the book as the prophetic Day of the Lord. John is not referring to Sunday as the Lord’s Day. If John were doing that, he would have referred to Sunday “as the first day” of the week as he did in the Gospel of John.Jesus Himself said He was Lord of the Sabbath, as it tells us in Mark 2:28! And He was not speaking of Sunday. Listen carefully!The expression “Lord’s Day” here in Revelation is plainly referring to the theme of the whole book, the prophetic Day of the Lord, culminating in the return of Jesus Christ as King of Kings and Lord of Lords! In chapter five, we read about a scroll sealed with seven seals. Jesus, the Revelator, opens the seals to the book. We read the description of those seals in Revelation the sixth chapter.The first four seals are known as the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.The first horse, the white horse and its rider represent false religions, false Christs. Jesus Himself points out the sequence of these end-time events in the Olivet Prophecy in Matthew 24. We’ve explained this convergence in previous programs.The second seal reveals a horseman riding a red horse with the power to take peace from the earth.The third seal presents a rider on a black horse representing the scarcity of food and resulting famine.The fourth seal shows a rider on a pale horse whose rider is named Death and Hades.These four horsemen have a combined power over one fourth of the earth to kill major populations. Jesus also spoke of the pestilence that normally follows on the heels of famine. Some teach that Jesus is divine, but is not actually God, just as His Father is God. They say Jesus is a CREATED being, just like the angels. And one verse that is commonly pointed to for such claims is Revelation 3 and verse 14. There, in vision, the Apostle John sees the glorified Christ, who reveals messages to the Church of God, intended to span the centuries that would follow. John writes in Revelation 3:14,“And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write, ‘These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God…’”Those words, “the Beginning of the creation of God,” seem to suggest to some that Jesus--even in His divine existence before His life on earth--was CREATED by God.So, “Was Jesus created?”One of the principles we’ll use on today’s program to help us answer these questions is a vital tool for biblical understanding. When trying to find out what the Bible really says about something--in this case, the nature of Christ--it is important to “Examine other scriptures on the same topic.” After all, the Bible--every word of it--is inspired by the same God, through the same Spirit. It does not contradict itself. The Son of God, Himself, Jesus Christ, tells us this in John chapter 10 and verse 35, where He says “the Scripture cannot be broken.”When we want to understand the fullness of God’s mind on a subject, we want to rightly divide His word and look at the WHOLE of that word and what it has to say about that subject.In this case, what does the Bible have to say in other places about Jesus Christ’s existence with God BEFORE His incarnation in the flesh?Was He created by God?Or did He exist eternally with God, with NO beginning?There are many places in Scripture where we could turn, but since Revelation is Jesus’ revelation to His servant John, let’s turn to John’s own gospel to see how he understood Jesus' pre-incarnate nature. Look at the very beginning of the book of John, starting with the very first verse:“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. How to Practice Biblical Meditation: 3 Keys for Life-Changing Results Tomorrows World 2022-11-11 | The Bible provides a practical spiritual tool that can bring life-changing emotional, mental, and spiritual benefits, but it has often been misunderstood and underused. That tool is meditation. But what exactly is meditation? When should you meditate? How often should you meditate? How can you meditate in a way that actually impacts your life?In this video, we’ll examine 3 simple keys to life-changing meditation, from the pages of the Bible! And please, don't just believe us, but prove this for yourself and look up these verses in your own Bible! Okay, let’s get started…Meditation is the exercise of thinking deeply. It means focusing our mind on a single theme and turning it over and over to gain understanding.And to practice life-changing meditation, we need to first…#1 - Empty your mind of thoughts and ideas contrary to God’s Way of life.While the Bible does instruct us to empty our minds, it may not be in the way you're thinking. The Bible tells us to remove from our minds any ideas and thoughts contrary to God’s Way of life. Notice what the Apostle Paul was inspired to write in 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 (NIV), “The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” An appropriate synonym for meditation is to “deliberate,” to consider a topic in great detail and with a singular focus—bringing our thoughts into alignment with the way of life found in the Bible. Or as Paul put it, “ …tak[ing] captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” Yet as we are emptying our minds of thoughts contrary to God’s way of life, we are also to fill our mind with godly thoughts.Therefore, to practice life-changing meditation, you need to… # 2- FILL your mind with God’s Word.In Philippians 4:8 Paul provides a list outlining what we should fill our minds with, “...whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.” This means that any thoughts or ideas that don’t fall within these categories are not worth our focused, long-term attention and meditation. The book of Deuteronomy presents an excellent source of ideas and thoughts that fit within the categories found in Philippians 4:8.The first generation of Israel that came out of Egypt did not obey God’s instruction, so, they were not allowed to enter the promised land. God instead said their children would be the ones to enter. Right before the second generation entered the land, God had Moses recount to them the 10 commandments (Deuteronomy 5). After the giving of the 10 commandments, God gave instructions on correct meditation. “You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.” (Deuteronomy 6:5-7) We are encouraged to continually consider God’s Laws throughout the day. God’s Words are the perfect source of material for life-changing meditation! When we meditate on God’s Way of life, then it will change the way we think and act. As Psalm 19:7 says, “The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul….” It will literally change the way we live!The third key to practice life-changing meditation is to #3- Meditate all the day.We can certainly have more focused times of meditation, where we go to a quiet place to consider God’s Words. Just as Isaac did when he “went out to meditate in the field in the evening….” (Gen. 24:63) Yet, we can also practice meditation throughout the day. King David was a man after God’s own heart (1 Samuel 13:14 and Acts 13:22). In part, that was because he practiced Biblical meditation. In Psalm 119:97 David said, “Oh, how I love Your law! It is my meditation all the day.” David meditated on God’s Word, “all the day!” There is an important implication in this verse. How long can you consider something you know little about? Not all the day! This means that David knew God’s Word well, which means he regularly read or listened to readings of it. This means we are only able to meditate on God’s Words throughout the day when we regularly fill our minds with more of God’s word. Without the practice of daily Bible study, our minds will be limited in what to meditate on. But if we consistently study and read God’s Word, then we can we truly meditate on it deeply throughout the day.So if we want to experience truly life-changing meditation, we need to follow these 3 simple steps.
The Coming ”Great Tribulation” Explained with 4 Points from the Bible Tomorrows World 2022-10-07 | The Bible describes the worst time in all of human history as the "Great Tribulation." It says this will come just before Jesus returns.So what is the great tribulation, and why will it occur? Let's find out what the Bible has to say. We'll explain the Great Tribulation in 4 simple points. And if you happen to live in the US or a British commonwealth nation, be sure to stick around for point #4 because it will impact you most of all.And please, don't just believe us, but prove this for yourself and look up these verses in your own Bible! Okay, let's get started...Point # 1 - The Great Tribulation is... A Unique Time Period In All of Human History.Jesus said, "For then there will be great tribulation [or in other words, great distress and anguish], such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved" (Matthew 24:21–22).The book of Daniel also prophesies, "...there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation, even to that time." (Daniel 12:1)And the prophet Jeremiah says, "For that day is great, so that none is like it...." (Jer. 30:7)These verses, and others, describe a unique time period far worse than any other in all of human history. There cannot be more than 1 time period that fits this description, so we know these prophecies are referring to the same event-- the coming "Great Tribulation" and the end of the age.Despite all of the past world wars, genocides, mass murders, pandemics, plagues, famines, natural disasters, and even the worldwide flood of Noah's day... none of these match the chaos, death, destruction, and suffering that will occur at this time.It will unleash the worst time period mankind has ever, and will ever experience. Billions of people will die, and many will suffer. Truly, it is a terrifying reality that must be taken seriously! As Jesus said, unless God intervenes, not a single person on earth would survive. This is where our world is headed!Point #2 - The Great Tribulation is... A Period of 2 & 1/2 YearsThe prophet Daniel was told that the final events leading up to the second coming of Christ and the setting up of God's Kingdom on earth would last "for a time, times, and half a time" (Daniel 12:5-7). Many biblical scholars agree that a "time" refers to 1 year. "Times" refers to 2 years. And "half a time," is half of a year. A total of 3 and 1/2 years.Jesus said, "Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken" (Matthew 24:29)This shows that at a point during this 3.5-year period, yet after the tribulation, come these heavenly signs.Jesus’ description in Matthew matches the sequence of end-time events in the book of Revelation. After the fifth seal is opened, and the martyrdom of the saints comes the opening of the sixth seal where "...the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood. And the stars of heaven fell to the earth...." (Rev. 6:12-17).And Joel, chapter 2, makes clear that these heavenly signs introduce the time period spoken of in the Bible as "The Day of the LORD."Joel 2:30-31 says, "And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth: Blood and fire and pillars of smoke, the sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of the LORD."More than 30 prophecies in the Bible refer to the Day of the LORD. Isaiah 34:8 and 63:4, show that the Day of the LORD in end-time prophecy is a period of 1 year. Daniel 2 & Nebuchadnezzar’s Dream Explained Tomorrows World 2022-09-16 | What’s so amazing about King Nebuchadnezzar’s dream recorded in Daniel chapter 2 is that even though it was recorded about 2600 years ago, it has come to pass in stunning detail.But… there is one more major aspect still to come. So stick around to the end, because we’ll not only explain the details that have already come to pass but also why this prophecy is relevant for us now. And we’ll do it straight from the pages of the Bible.Chapter 2 of the book of Daniel records a dream King Nebuchadnezzar had in the second year of his reign.It not only records the dream, but it also gives the interpretation.And what is so amazing about this, is that even though it was recorded about 2600 years ago, it has come to pass in stunning detail. So stick around to the end, because we’ll explain why this prophecy is so important for us today.So, here’s the storyNebuchadnezzar was one of the most famous kings of ancient Babylon.Around 603 BC he had a troubling dream that he wanted to be interpreted by his counselors, who included his magicians, astrologers, and sorcerers.But… he not only wanted them to give the interpretation, he wanted them to first describe the dream and then give the interpretation.He knew he could trust the interpretation if the counselors were able to tell him his dream without revealing it to them first. Of course, none of his counselors could do this. So, he pronounced the death penalty on all the wise men in Babylon.However, when Daniel the prophet was approached about the matter, he prayed to God and asked for insight, knowing God was able to tell the dream and its interpretation.So, here is the dream, then we’ll see the interpretation:In verse 28 Daniel explains “...there is a God in heaven who reveals secrets, and He has made known to King Nebuchadnezzar what will be in the latter days. Your dream, and the visions of your head… were these:You… were watching; and behold, a great image! This great image, whose splendor was excellent, stood before you; and its form was awesome. This image’s head was of… gold, its chest and arms of silver, its belly and thighs of bronze, its legs of iron, its feet partly of iron and partly of clay. You watched while a stone was cut out without hands, which struck the image on its feet of iron and clay, and broke them in pieces. Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold were crushed together, and became like chaff… the wind carried them away so that no trace of them was found. And the stone that struck the image became a great mountain and filled the whole earth. This is the dream.” (Daniel 2:28-36)Daniel continues in verse 36:“Now we will tell the interpretation of it... You, O king, are a king of kings. For the God of heaven has given you a kingdom, power, strength, and glory… [He] has made you ruler over… all–you are this head of gold. But after you shall arise another kingdom inferior to yours; then… a third kingdom of bronze, which shall rule over all the earth. And the fourth kingdom shall be as strong as iron, inasmuch as iron breaks in pieces and shatters everything; and like iron that crushes, that kingdom will break in pieces and crush all the others. Whereas you saw the feet and toes, partly of potter’s clay and partly of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; yet the strength of the iron shall be in it... so the kingdom shall be partly strong and partly fragile. As you saw iron mixed with ceramic clay, they will mingle with the seed of men; but they will not adhere to one another, just as iron does not mix with clay. And in the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed… it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever. Inasmuch as you saw that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it broke in pieces the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and the gold–the great God has made known to the king what will come to pass after this. The dream is certain, and its interpretation is sure.” (v. 36 - 45)Now, let’s break it down and examine who these world-ruling kingdoms were.So, the first section of the statue in Nebuchadnezzar’s dream, the head of gold, we are explicitly told represented Nebuchadnezzar’s kingdom. That was the Neo-Babylonian empire, otherwise known as the Chaldean Empire (from 626-539 BC).Now, for the remaining kingdoms, we’re not explicitly told in chapter two who they were, but chapters 5 through 8, as well as the book of Revelation, give more insight.So, we’ll let the Bible interpret the Bible and use these other chapters to find the answer.The second section of the statue, the chest and arms of silver, pointed to the next world ruling empire on the world scene. That was the empire of the Medes and Persians (ruling from 558 BC to 330 BC). We know this both from history and the Bible.

In Scripture, an “open door” refers to an opening for the preaching of the gospel (1 Co. 16:9; 2 Co. 2:12; Col. 4:3)Jesus commissioned the Church to “go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15) and He opens doors for the Church to do this.So in the last days before the Great Tribulation, those in the Church of God having the Philadelphian spirit will be proclaiming the gospel and the end-time warning message.But, as described in Amos 8:11-12, there comes a famine of the word when the Church's organized proclamation of the gospel is shut down.“Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord GOD, “That I will send a famine on the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD. They shall wander from sea to sea, and from north to east; they shall run to and fro, seeking the word of the LORD, but shall not find it.”A "famine" of hearing the truth occurs when the nations of Israel are taken over by a foreign power that prohibits the proclamation and practice of the true biblical faith. This happened around 720bc when Assyrians carried the northern 10 tribes of Israel into captivity. It will happen again during the Great Tribulation, when the modern descendants of ancient Israel are punished for their sins (Matthew 24:9; Hosea 5:5; Jeremiah 22:5–9; 30:7).Now, Matthew 24:15–21 and Luke 21:20–24 make plain that the multinational army described in Zechariah 14:1–2 will have occupied Jerusalem at the onset of the Great Tribulation. By comparing Luke 21:24 with Revelation 11:2, we see that the Beast power, revealed in Revelation 17, will occupy and control Jerusalem for 42 months, or three-and-a-half years. To learn more about the Beast power and its mark, just click here… (The Mark of the Beast in 10 Minutes…)We also see that prior to the Great Tribulation, the false prophet, or Antichrist, will arise, deceive many (Thess. 2:3-4, Rev. 13:11-17), and the holy place will be desecrated (Matthew 24:15) Then, we find in Revelation 11 the details regarding the two witnesses and what they will be doing leading up to Christ’s return.“And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.” (Rev. 11:3)This period of 1,260 days or 3.5 years, includes the Great Tribulation (Matthew 24:21-22) and the year-long period (Is. 34:8; 63:4) of the Day of the Lord. It is during this time that the two witnesses will prophesy carrying on the work of God.This time period is also when a remnant of the Church will be protected in the wilderness (Rev. 12:14), the 4 Horsemen will continue their ride (Rev. 6:1-8), and the heavenly signs will announce the Day of the Lord (Rev. 6:12-17). We see many of these obvious dangers and we’re determined to guide our children around or away from them. But we can miss more subtle.., more corrosive threats…until it’s too late. Before we realize it, our children have absorbed ways of thinking that are very different from what we intended. And we may have no idea how it happened.The way we fulfill our role as parents—as good parents, raising good kids—is made even more significant by the fact that we bear a responsibility toward God Himself for how well we do our job. In the book of Malachi, God refers to our children as “Godly offspring”, made in the image of Him, just as we are (Malachi 2:15). God wants us to learn, to grow in character, to love God and learn to love our neighbor. But He also wants us to teach our children the lessons that He has taught us.Centuries ago, when the children of Israel left Egypt, God commanded them to never forget the miracles they had seen and the lessons they had learned. He told them, “...these words which I command you today shall be in your heart.” But then He added something else. He said, “You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.” (Deuteronomy 6:6–7)Paul echoed those words many years later, when he wrote in Ephesians 6:4, “And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord.” So, we have an opportunity…and a responsibility…to teach, and train, and help our children to become good…to develop the righteous character of God—just as we are striving to do. That is a tall order in a world that is filled with so much bad. According to a Barna report titled “Gen Z and Morality,” almost one quarter of our teens believe that “what is morally right and wrong changes over time...based on society” (Barna Group, Barna.com, 2018). About one fifth believe that what is right and what is wrong is up to the individual.So, we’re not going to get much help from society. But the challenge remains.How do we fulfill this instruction from God—to bring our children up in the “training and admonition” of the Lord—in a world that is filled with confusion about right and wrong?This challenge is where we begin.Part one in this series will focus on the first fundamental key to raising good kids in a bad world… “Training the Heart.”The Heart of a ChildFrom the moment we gaze into the eyes of our little baby boy or girl, they have our heart. To hold this little baby in our arms—this little person who has come from the love between you and your wife or husband and your yearning to build a family—it’s overwhelming. It’s unforgettable. I’ll never forget the first night I held my first newborn son. I had never felt anything like it—it was like my heart would just burst with emotion…God made us feel that emotion. That emotion is part of the human spirit that God has breathed into us that comprehends…that understands…and that can also be molded to reflect an attitude or heart of love and outgoing concern toward others. As God works with us, His desire is to shape our heart, our spiritual core. This is what Christ was expressing when He taught the parable of the Good Samaritan in Luke 10. He said, ...“‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,’ and ‘your neighbor as yourself.’” (Luke 10:27). Christ was helping His listeners understand the mind of God. And we long to do the same with our children. As we teach them to share their toys, to eat their food without throwing it across the room, to avoid touching a hot stove—all the “do’s and don’ts”—we’re certainly training them. But if all we do is create a longer and longer list in their minds of what to do and not do we’re simply training them to “perform”—to do the right thing on command. And if our major goal is quick and efficient compliance with every command, we’re treating our children like robots—not children. No, we want more for our children. As our little babies become toddlers, and then children, our goal is not only to work with their hands...but their heart. Isn’t this what the Proverbs tell us?King Solomon said to his son, “My son, do not forget my law, but let your heart keep my commands...” (Proverbs 3:1).

(Jer. 23:24)Solomon also understood this, saying in his prayer at the dedication of the temple, "But will God indeed dwell on the earth? Behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain You." (1 Kings 8:27)The Bible reveals that the Holy Spirit is inherent in the Father and in the Son. God's presence fills the universe by means of His Holy Spirit. Before we realize it, our children have absorbed ways of thinking that are very different from what we intended. And we may have no idea how it happened.The way we fulfill our role as parents—as good parents, raising good kids—is made even more significant by the fact that we bear a responsibility toward God Himself for how well we do our job. In the book of Malachi, God refers to our children as “Godly offspring”, made in the image of Him, just as we are (Malachi 2:15). God wants us to learn, to grow in character, to love God and learn to love our neighbor. But He also wants us to teach our children the lessons that He has taught us.Centuries ago, when the children of Israel left Egypt, God commanded them to never forget the miracles they had seen and the lessons they had learned. He told them, “...these words which I command you today shall be in your heart.” But then He added something else. He said, “You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.” (Deuteronomy 6:6–7)Paul echoed those words many years later, when he wrote in Ephesians 6:4, “And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord.” So, we have an opportunity…and a responsibility…to teach, and train, and help our children to become good…to develop the righteous character of God—just as we are striving to do. That is a tall order in a world that is filled with so much bad. According to a Barna report titled “Gen Z and Morality,” almost one quarter of our teens believe that “what is morally right and wrong changes over time...based on society” (Barna Group, Barna.com, 2018). About one fifth believe that what is right and what is wrong is up to the individual.So, we’re not going to get much help from society. But the challenge remains.How do we fulfill this instruction from God—to bring our children up in the “training and admonition” of the Lord—in a world that is filled with confusion about right and wrong?This challenge is where we begin.Part one in this series will focus on the first fundamental key to raising good kids in a bad world… “Training the Heart.”The Heart of a ChildFrom the moment we gaze into the eyes of our little baby boy or girl, they have our heart. To hold this little baby in our arms—this little person who has come from the love between you and your wife or husband and your yearning to build a family—it’s overwhelming. It’s unforgettable. I’ll never forget the first night I held my first newborn son. I had never felt anything like it—it was like my heart would just burst with emotion…God made us feel that emotion. That emotion is part of the human spirit that God has breathed into us that comprehends…that understands…and that can also be molded to reflect an attitude or heart of love and outgoing concern toward others. As God works with us, His desire is to shape our heart, our spiritual core. This is what Christ was expressing when He taught the parable of the Good Samaritan in Luke 10. He said, ...“‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,’ and ‘your neighbor as yourself.’” (Luke 10:27). Christ was helping His listeners understand the mind of God. And we long to do the same with our children. As we teach them to share their toys, to eat their food without throwing it across the room, to avoid touching a hot stove—all the “do’s and don’ts”—we’re certainly training them. But if all we do is create a longer and longer list in their minds of what to do and not do we’re simply training them to “perform”—to do the right thing on command. And if our major goal is quick and efficient compliance with every command, we’re treating our children like robots—not children. No, we want more for our children. As our little babies become toddlers, and then children, our goal is not only to work with their hands...but their heart. Isn’t this what the Proverbs tell us?King Solomon said to his son, “My son, do not forget my law, but let your heart keep my commands...” (Proverbs 3:1).

What does your Bible record as the historic truth?Consider the Apostle Paul.Paul was trained as a Pharisee; he knew the Hebrew scriptures, the Old Testament scriptures, very well. In the city of Thessalonica, Paul preached to the Jews in the synagogue three Sabbaths in a row. Turn to Act 17. Notice that this was his custom—he regularly preached on the Sabbath.ACTS 17:2: “Then Paul, as His custom was, went in to them, and for three Sabbaths reasoned with them from the Scriptures, explaining and demonstrating that the Christ had to suffer and rise again from the dead, and saying, ‘This Jesus whom I preach to you is the Christ.’”Paul regularly preached to the Jews on the Sabbath. But, did he also speak to the gentiles on the Sabbath? Notice the next chapter, Acts 18. Here the Apostle Paul is in the Gentile city of Corinth, in Greece. Acts 18:4: “And he reasoned in the synagogue every Sabbath, and persuaded both Jews and Greeks”!One would think that if Christians were to keep Sunday, rather than the seventh-day Sabbath, the Apostle Paul might speak to the Jews on Saturday and the Gentiles on Sunday.Is that what your Bible says?Turn to Acts 13. Paul was in Antioch, in what is now modern Turkey. Here Are 7 Proofs of Gods Existence Tomorrows World 2022-06-10 | Here are seven major proofs that God exists.The first five can be seen by anyone with an open mind.Even the honest atheist should admit it is at least possible for God to exist.The last two, however, cannot be seen by those who totally reject the idea.We’ll explain why when we get to them.Proof 1 - Creation demands a CreatorWe live in an incredible universe, in an incredible galaxy, in an incredible solar system, on an incredible planet, in our incredible human bodies, with our incredible human minds… There is no way ALL of this is by accident! In fact, the famous British mathematician, Roger Penrose, a colleague of Stephen Hawking, calculated the odds of a universe like ours coming into existence by chance alone are 1 in 10^(10^123). For clarity, that is not a 1 with 123 zeros after it, it is a 1 with a quadragintillion zeros after it. It is literally not possible to show this number of zeros with current technology and even if it could be shown, you would not have enough time to see all the zeros even if you lived the sum total of the number of years of every human who ever lived. These odds make the idea that the universe came into existence by random chance statistically impossible many times over–which leads to one logical conclusion: there is a Creator who created with intent.As the Bible states, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” (Gen 1:1)Plain and Simple, right? Life only comes from pre-existing life. This is known as the law of biogenesis. The reality is, life as we know it had to originate from a pre-existing source of life. One of the very names God uses for Himself is the YHWH (Ex. 3:14), of which the exact pronunciation has been lost. Some pronounce it Ya-Weh or Jehovah, or Yahovah. Regardless of the exact pronunciation, what is important is what His name means. His name translates to the “Self-Existent” One, or the “Eternal.” In other words, God alone has life inherent and has existed from eternity. It is God who has given life to mankind, the animals, and all living matter. “...the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.” (Gen 2:7)Proof 3 - Laws demand a LawgiverScience exists because scientists understand that the universe operates in an orderly manner according to laws—the laws of physics (of gravity and of motion), the laws of chemistry and laws of biology to name a few (Job 28:24-27).These are not to mention spiritual laws that go beyond the physical. There are verifiable spiritual laws that regulate human relationships and the relationship between mankind and his Creator (Ex. 20, Deut. 5). When followed, these laws bring joy and happiness, and when broken, they bring pain and suffering.But how did all of these laws originate? Where did they come from? Who set them in motion?Isa 33:22 states simply, “...The LORD is our Lawgiver….”And James 4:12, says, “There is one Lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy….”The fact that our world, both physically and spiritually, is ordered by certain irrefutable laws demands the existence of a Supreme Lawgiver.Proof 4 - Design demands a DesignerEvidence of design is found throughout the universe, from the quantum level to the largest scale of the entire cosmos; from the fascinating DNA molecule to the awesome human body and mind.In the same way an archaeologist finds a shard of pottery or a wall of an ancient city and recognizes they were not just random accidents caused by nature over time, but rather designed with intent by human intellect, so we can look at the universe on the grandest scale, and the smallest scale and see how it must have been designed with intent by supreme intellect.Think about it, if an archaeologist found an ancient city and concluded it came together as a result of random chances of nature over millions/billions of years. All that memorization time was wasted!These were not the exact words they used, but were similar to those found on one website:The 10 Commandments, the Law, the Blood(old) Covenant, and the Levitical Priesthood were given to the Jews in Exodus 19 through 34. They were not given to Gentiles then or ever (“Law or Grace?,” ClearBibleVerses.com).The author of the site goes on to quote the pet scriptures that make it appear the law is indeed done away.So what’s the truth? Is the law of God still in effect? Or has it been replaced by grace. Which is it? Law or grace?In the remainder of this program, I’ll answer that question with five easy to understand keys that unlock the answer, but before doing so, let’s notice a few scriptures that are used by antinomians—that is, those who are against the law and claim we do not need to keep it.Romans 3:28: Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law.Romans 6:14: For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.Galatians 2:15–16: We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles, knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.When you’re seventeen years old and someone cherry-picks scriptures such as these, and doesn’t explain them, it can be very convincing that there is no longer any need to keep the law of God. To do so sounds like “salvation by works.”But let’s look a little deeper into the subject.The first of the five keys to understanding whether or not the Apostle Paul contradicted other apostles, and Christ Himself, is: Key #1: Paul wrote some things hard to understandThe Apostle Peter warned us that people twist Paul’s writings, and even tells us who the culprits are.Here is the warning, as found in 2 Peter 3:15–16. Breaking into a thought, he writes that,… our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, has written to you, as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which untaught and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures.But, who are these people who are untaught, unstable, and who twist Paul’s writings? Many nations that were once colonies of Western nations may find that they benefit from their association with Western culture and civilization, but that doesn’t mean they always did so. And many of the West’s accomplishments were financed in part by the wealth and resources it obtained from OTHER nations.So, please don’t take today’s program as universal praise for Western Civilization. How to Know When Christ Will Return - First 2 Major Events Tomorrows World 2022-05-20 | Ever since Jesus left the earth 2000 years ago, the big question has been… WHEN will He return?In the parable of the fig tree, Jesus explained that when certain events take place His followers would KNOW that His coming and the end of the age is near.They wouldn’t know the specific day or hour, but they would know it was coming soon by watching for specific signs. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.”Other Scriptures and prophecies add more detail, showing that this end-time counterfeit Christianity will be led by an influential, powerful and appealing leader.In Revelation 13:11-17, a beast is described that comes out of the earth and looks like a lamb but speaks like a dragon, meaning it will look like Jesus Christ (the Lamb of God) on the surface, but will speak like Satan, often described as a dragon (Revelation 12:9). This person, called the Antichrist (1 John 2:18), “man of sin” (2 Thessalonians 2:3), and the False Prophet (Revelation 19:20), will be empowered by Satan to perform great signs, including calling down fire from heaven. This person will look good, even Christ-like, in order to deceive the majority of mankind. The core characteristic of this first sign is religious deception within the realm of Christianity. So,Myth #1: Jesus’ mother was a perpetual virginThis myth has far-reaching implications.Scriptures mention Jesus having brothers and sisters, but some allege that these verses refer to either cousins or disciples. What are we to believe? Should we follow traditions handed down to us that conflict with easy-to-understand scripture? Or should we believe the Bible? You be the judge!The false narrative of Jesus’ mother remaining a perpetual virgin and Jesus having no siblings is soundly contradicted in John 7, beginning in verse 3:His brothers therefore said to Him, “Depart from here and go into Judea, that Your disciples also may see the works that You are doing. For no one does anything in secret while he himself seeks to be known openly. If You do these things, show Yourself to the world.” For even His brothers did not believe in Him (John 7:3–5).So much for “His brothers” referring to disciples! This does not mean that He never referred to His followers as being brothers, only that He had “brothers” who were not disciples.Another scriptural example of His blood family is found in Matthew 12, verses 47–50, where there is a clear distinction between His physical family and His spiritual family:Then one said to Him, “Look, Your mother and Your brothers are standing outside, seeking to speak with You.” But He answered and said to the one who told Him, “Who is My mother and who are My brothers?” And He stretched out His hand toward His disciples and said, “Here are My mother and My brothers! For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother” (Matthew 12:47–50).These references to brothers cannot be shrugged off easily.Let’s notice another passage on this subject where sisters (plural) are mentioned. Matthew 13:54–56 relates how citizens in the area where He grew up, were perplexed by the wisdom and miracles He performed:… when He had come to His own country, He taught them in their synagogue, so that they were astonished and said, “Where did this Man get this wisdom and these mighty works? Is this not the carpenter’s son? Is not His mother called Mary? And His brothers James, Joses, Simon, and Judas? And His sisters, are they not all with us? Where then did this Man get all these things?” (Matthew 13:54–56).Any objective reader who is not influenced by unfounded traditions recognizes that Matthew 1:24–25 ought to lay the question to rest.Then Joseph, being aroused from sleep, did as the angel of the Lord commanded him and took to him his wife, and did not know her till she had brought forth her firstborn Son. And he called His name JESUS.Although “firstborn son” does not necessarily mean there were others, the inference is certainly there.But more importantly, any student of the Bible knows that the expression “did not know her” is a euphemism for sexual relations, as we see in Genesis 4:Now Adam knew Eve his wife, and she conceived and bore Cain (Genesis 4:1).And Cain knew his wife, and she conceived and bore Enoch (Genesis 4:17).And Adam knew his wife again, and she bore a son and named him Seth (Genesis 4:25).My friends, instead of blindly following Church traditions, read the Bible for what it says!But you may wonder, “Is it important to know that Mary did not remain a perpetual virgin and that Jesus had half-brothers and sisters?”The answer is found inMyth #2: The narrative that Mary is our intercessorMary was the mother of Jesus and scripture indicates she was a righteous woman. Merriam-Webster dictionary defines virtual reality as “an artificial environment which is experienced through sensory stimuli (such as sights and sounds) provided by a computer and in which one’s actions partially determine what happens in the environment.”The metaverse platforms are very popular. One can vicariously choose to travel to exotic places or strive to experience unachievable goals and dreams through the metaverse. The New York Times reported this example; “Getting Married in the Metaverse. One couple’s recent nuptials in the virtual world known as the metaverse showcase the possibilities of having a wedding unfettered by the bounds of reality” (“Getting Married in the Metaverse,” NYTimes.com, December 10, 2021).My friends, do you want a life “unfettered by the bounds of reality”? We cannot escape our financial obligations, or employment and family responsibilities. Nor can we escape the real world in which we live day after day. But we can seek the amazing real world to come! That world will be a glorious world of peace, guaranteed by the ruler of that coming Kingdom, the Messiah, Jesus Christ. On today’s program, we’ll describe from the Bible the amazing realities among peoples and nations as they submit to the Prince of Peace, as He is called in Isaiah 9:6. What will that kingdom be like? What form of world-ruling government will prevail? What religion will be practiced by all nations on earth? How will world peace come about?But just what is the Kingdom of God? We’ve explained this on previous programs, but first of all, the Kingdom has a ruler. And who is that? His message was to the Jewish people, who had been resettled in the land of Judah after the Babylonian captivity.Malachi gave strong medicine to his generation. They had become lax in keeping God’s law, their priests were corrupt and unfair in their judgments, and divorce was ripping that society apart. Some were even wondering whether it mattered if they served God or not.As we consider the challenges in the modern Western world, it’s fascinating and perhaps a little sobering to look at the warnings that Malachi gave his generation.The warnings are written in the style of a dialogue between God and His people. Let’s read a few of the passages, to catch a glimpse of what God was saying to that generation. We might just find there’s a message for ours.We’ll start in Malachi 2:7:“For the lips of a priest should keep knowledge, and people should seek the law from his mouth; for he is the messenger of the LORD of hosts. But you have departed from the way; You have caused many to stumble at the law.”The priest at that time was the one who taught them God’s laws and led in public worship—and yet the priests had become so corrupt that people could not trust what they were teaching anymore. Instead of making God’s ways clear and plain, they had caused the Law to become confused and muddled in the minds of the people.“You have not kept My ways but have shown partiality in the law” (v. 9).The law was being applied unfairly, unjustly. Do we think our age is the first to grapple with issues of injustice and unequal treatment under the law? Malachi showed that God was not pleased when judges showed favoritism instead of fairly and consistently applying God’s law.“And this is the second thing you do: you cover the altar of the LORD with tears, with weeping and crying; So He does not regard the offering anymore, nor receive it with goodwill from your hands. Yet you say, ‘For what reason?’ Because the LORD has been witness between you and the wife of your youth, with whom you have dealt treacherously…. ‘For the LORD God of Israel says that He hates divorce, for it covers one’s garment with violence,’ says the LORD of hosts” (Malachi 2:13–14, 16).That generation was noted for its lax attitudes toward marital commitment and faithfulness. And God was not pleased.How do you think He looks at our generation? Is He pleased that so many marriages end in divorce? What about the conditions that lead to divorce? Some people wrongly accuse the Bible of encouraging hate and disrespect toward women, but nothing could be further from the truth.What we just read shows that God is very upset when women are not treated fairly and respectfully in marriage. He tells men, don’t abuse, neglect, or hurt your wives in any way. God cares about women, and the Bible upholds the marriage relationship, which was made for the benefit and happiness of men and women.Notice, there’s more;“You have wearied the LORD with your words; Yet you say, ‘In what way have we wearied Him?’ In that you say, ‘Everyone who does evil is good in the sight of the LORD, and He delights in them’…” (v. 17).There were some in that day who were turning God’s law upside down. They were trying to make it look like what God calls good is actually bad. And what God calls bad, well, that’s actually good for you. When they had assembled with the elders and consulted together, they gave a large sum of money to the soldiers, saying, “Tell them, ‘His disciples came at night and stole Him away while we slept.’ And if this comes to the governor’s ears, we will appease him and make you secure.” So they took the money and did as they were instructed; and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day (Matthew 28:11–15).As with that example, some conspiracies are more than theories. Some have proven to be true beyond Internet blogs and questionable sources. One came to light from a Top Secret document that was made public November 18, 1997:Operation Northwoods was a plan circulated in the U.S. government in 1962 to stage false flag terrorist attacks inside the U.S. and abroad to provoke “military intervention in Cuba”. The plan called for Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) or other operatives to commit genuine acts of terrorism in U.S. cities and elsewhere. These acts of terrorism were to be blamed on Cuba in order to create public support for a war against that nation, which had recently become communist under Fidel Castro. One part of the Operation Northwoods plan was to “develop a Communist Cuban terror campaign in the Miami area, in other Florida cities and even in Washington.” The document was signed by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Lyman Lemnitzer and reportedly presented to Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara on March 13, 1962 (“Operation Northwoods,” PublicIntelligence.net, March 9, 2010).The plan was given to President Kennedy, who had the good sense to turn it down, but the fact that a false flag of this magnitude was considered by high government officials, involving sacrificing the lives of American citizens, is it any wonder that such schemes have contributed to wild speculations? The third item —which was invisible to the naked eye—was incredibly important for those living at the time, and for us today. So, what were the 3 things nailed to the cross?In this video we will answer that question from the pages of the Bible.Let’s answer that question from the pages of the Bible.The first item a witness of the crucifixion would have seen nailed to the cross was: Jesus, the Christ.Jesus was nailed through His hands and feet. This horrific form of execution was common practice in the Roman Empire at the time.When He hung from the cross, He had already been beaten, bloodied and scourged. (Matthew 26:67; 27:26, 27-30) (Mark 14:65, 15:15-20) His beating was prophesied centuries in advance through the prophet Isaiah, which says:“Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.” (Isaiah 53:4-5)During His physical beating, He also endured psychological attacks and mocking.As Matthew 26:67-68 explain:“Then they spat in His face and beat Him; and others struck Him with the palms of their hands, saying, “Prophesy to us, Christ! Who is the one who struck You?”Even after all of this suffering, Jesus never lost sight of why He subjected Himself to crucifixionWitnesses there that day would have had the opportunity to hear Jesus’ merciful response to this unwarranted torture. As recorded in Luke 23:34, He said:“Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.”The first thing nailed to the cross, or stake, was Jesus the Christ–the Son of God. The second item nailed to the cross that a witness of the crucifixion would have seen was a sign over Jesus’s head.Put just above Him was a sign describing the accusation against Him. Each of the 4 gospel accounts provide details which give a full understanding of what was written.Mark’s report provides the simplest description, saying: “Now it was the third hour, and they crucified Him. And the inscription of His accusation was written above: ‘THE KING OF THE JEWS’” (Mark 15:25–26).The gospel of Matthew also explains, “And they put up over His head the accusation written against Him: ‘THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS’” (Matthew 27:37)The gospel of Luke gives more detail, saying: “And an inscription also was written over Him in letters of Greek, Latin, and Hebrew: ‘THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS’” (Luke 23:38).The gospel of John adds: “Now Pilate wrote a title and put it on the cross. And the writing was: ‘JESUS OF NAZARETH, THE KING OF THE JEWS.’ Then many of the Jews read this title, for the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city; and it was written in Hebrew, Greek, and Latin. He was still a great teacher.This idea that it doesn’t really matter whether Jesus was resurrected has become popular because of our secular age that is uncomfortable with anything supernatural or miraculous.Yet the first-century Church was under no illusions. In fact, look in 1 Corinthians chapter 15. As we do, let me make a point here that we’ll use again later. Even secular, non-Christian scholars believe that the letter of 1 Corinthians was written or dictated by Paul in the early 50s AD, so only around 20 years after the crucifixion.Did the Apostle Paul believe that it doesn’t really matter whether the resurrection was real or not? Let’s look, beginning in verse 14.And if Christ is not risen, then our preaching is empty and your faith is also empty. Yes, and we are found false witnesses of God, because we have testified of God that He raised up Christ, whom He did not raise up—if in fact the dead do not rise. For if the dead do not rise, then Christ is not risen. And if Christ is not risen, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins! Then also those who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished. If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men the most pitiable” (vv. 14–19).Paul understood what we should all understand—if Jesus Christ did not actually rise from the grave, then Christianity is a sham. No one is forgiven of their sins by Jesus’ shed blood, and there’s no future resurrection for those who die, and Jesus’ teachings are just one more philosophy of men.Jesus knew the importance of His resurrection, as well. Though He did many miracles during His ministry, when pressed to provide a sign that He was the Christ, note His own response in Matthew chapter 12:He answered and said to them, “An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth” (vv. 39–40).In fact, think about it. Jesus’ claims He would literally rise from the dead are peppered throughout His teachings. If He did not rise, then He was a liar or a lunatic, so why should His teachings have any credibility?No, the idea that “It doesn’t matter whether Jesus really rose from the dead” is completely a myth and fundamentally untrue.Our second myth claims that:The resurrection was only a legend about Jesus that developed long after He had died.Is this true? After all, as centuries pass, legends do become attached to the stories of famous people.Actually, we’ve already answered this one. Remember what we said about the book of 1 Corinthians and its mention of the resurrection—that even secular scholars believe it was written by the Apostle Paul in the early 50s AD, only about 20 years after Jesus’ death. That’s not much time for a legend to arise.In fact, we’ll find that belief in the resurrection existed even earlier than that. Turn to verse 3 of chapter 15, and read carefully:For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, and that He was seen by Cephas, then by the twelve. Teenagers growing into adulthood are very prone to the sexual messages readily available to them on the Internet.Many married people give in to the seducing temptations of others and commit adultery. The Apostle Paul warned married couples not to deprive one another from sexual relations. Otherwise, Satan could take advantage of our carnal nature. 1 Corinthians 7:5:“Do not deprive one another except with consent for a time, that you may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again so that Satan does not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.”In our modern age, sexual temptations are all around us. So, the Apostle Paul advised those who might lack self-control,“Nevertheless, because of sexual immorality, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband” (1 Corinthians 7:2).Let’s understand, my friends, that lust, greed, and covetousness is sin. The Tenth Commandment states:“You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s” (Exodus 20:17).The 1987 movie Wall Street featured the corporate investor Gordon Gekko, who made the famous statement, “Greed is Good!” No, my friends, greed leads to idolatry. How many millions around us make idols of business moguls and entertainers whose wealth they envy?You must not lust for sexual sin, or for the wealth you see other people trying to enjoy. God promises to provide all your needs—but all your godly needs, of course. That promise is in Philippians 4:19. Let’s also understand that covetousness is a form of idolatry. You can desire a person, position, or possession so strongly that it becomes an idol to [you]. Today, I’m asking and answering the questions: “Can Jesus come at just anytime? Is there a secret rapture? And what was Jesus’ first sign of the end of the age and the warning that accompanies it?” You’ve likely heard someone, perhaps a professing Christian minister, say that Jesus can come at any time—maybe even tonight. Setting aside the subject of the rapture for a moment, some have concluded this based on a misunderstanding of Matthew 24, where it tells us in verse 36,But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only (Matthew 24:36).Then, in verses 42 to 44, we read what appears to many as confirmation:Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.It’s true that no one knows the day or the hour, but that is not the same as saying He can come at any time. These verses must be taken in the context in which they are written—in other words, what goes before and what follows. If we start at the beginning of Matthew 24, we find Jesus’ disciples asking about the destruction of the temple and the time of His return. Notice beginning in verse 3:Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be?[That is the destruction of the temple]And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?” (Matthew 24:3).His disciples understood that a series of events must take place before the climax at the end, and He confirmed this with a list of signs to watch for that would precede His return. A number of these signs are ongoing, taking place throughout human history. That’s why He tells us in verse 6,See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet (Matthew 24:6).And then in verse 8,All these are the beginning of sorrows (Matthew 24:8).However, when we compare these signs that Jesus gave in Matthew 24 with the famed “Four Horsemen” of Revelation chapter 6, we must conclude that such catastrophes as war, famine, and disease will take on greater significance in the near future as they are precursors of the Day of the Lord when Christ returns. And among the signs given, it would do us well to note a very specific one found in verse 15:Therefore when you see the “ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION,” spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand) (Matthew 24:15).Notice that Jesus refers to the prophet Daniel regarding this sign. We read of it in Daniel chapter 12, where it clearly shows the time setting to be “the time of the end.” Notice it in verse 4:But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end.#tomorrowsworld #twtelecast #Rapture

The Gospel Jesus Preached Is Different than What Most Have Been Taught Tomorrows World 2022-03-25 | Before Jesus was crucified and resurrected, He went around preaching a message from God—a message of good news. Yet, that message is very different from what many have heard today!What was the good news Jesus proclaimed? Did He only preach about His coming sacrifice for the world? Was He telling people to just accept Him in their heart?Did He simply tell people to believe in Him? Or was it far more than that? He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned" (Mark 16:15-16)Our salvation depends on our willingness to accept & believe in the TRUE gospel—the same Gospel that Jesus preached and told His disciples to preach!This is why the Apostle Paul strongly warned the Corinthian brethren to not put up with a "different gospel" (2 Cor. 11:4)And in his epistle to the Galatians he pronounced a double curse, saying, "But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed." (Gal. 1:8-9)From the first century until now, false ministers have preached, in Paul’s words, "a different gospel, which is not another" (Gal. 1:6-7). They have spread a false gospel ignoring the very message that Jesus plainly preached.So, the Bible tells Christians to be aware, and to follow the true gospel preached by Jesus and His Apostles.Now, what was the gospel Jesus preached?The most familiar aspect of His message is probably summed up in John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”And the fact that He came to earth to suffer the penalty of death for us and actually save us from death, we should be thankful for with our entire being.We don’t deserve it and we could never repay it.It was done through His profound grace.But this aspect of the gospel is actually only a small part of a much larger message that He preached.[But this is just one aspect of the Gospel He preached. Here’s how the Bible and Jesus described His Gospel.]The message He preached was the Gospel of the coming Kingdom of God.So, we’ll see how the Bible describes what He preached.Mark 1:14 clearly explains, "Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the Kingdom of God, and saying, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel."And in Matthew 4:23 we read, "...Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom...."Later, in Matthew 9:35 we see again, "... Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom...."Scripture after scripture shows Jesus preached the gospel of the coming Kingdom of God. His message was good news about a new world order. It was about the government of God coming to earth. Jesus, Himself, even said this was a major reason for His ministry:"And the crowd sought Him and came to Him, and tried to keep Him from leaving them; but He said to them, "I must preach the kingdom of God to the other cities also, because for this purpose I have been sent." (Luke 4:42-43)Further, "...It came to pass, afterward, that He went through every city and village, preaching and bringing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God. And the twelve were with Him...." (Luke 8:1)The Bible clearly shows that Jesus’s message & ministry focused on the coming Kingdom of God to this earth. This is why He consistently taught about the Kingdom.He told His disciples to "...seek first the kingdom of God...." (Matthew 6:33)He taught many parables where He compared the kingdom to a mustard seed, leaven, treasure hidden in a field, a pearl of great price, and a wheat field. (All of these are in Matt. 13. As we list them on screen we may want to give the verse beside each example, but I left them out here.)He spoke on many occasions about who will enter this kingdom (Mark 10:14-15, Mark 10:23-25; Matt 21:31; Luke 7:28; Luke 13:28)He even gave signs showing when the kingdom is close to its arrival (Luke 21:31; Matt. 24:33)

Even our science programming has gotten into the act, with quasi-documentaries detailing how our vulnerable planet could be wiped out by climate change, disrupted by a passing black hole, or eventually eaten by our swollen sun.But none of these things are going to happen—at least not exactly.Let me be clear: When we speak of “the end of the world,” we’re not talking about the end of the planet. God says through King Solomon in Ecclesiastes,One generation passes away, and another generation comes; But the earth abides forever (Ecclesiastes 1:4). No, God has plans for this planet, as the Bible reveals.Rather, we are speaking of the END OF THE WORLD AS WE KNOW IT. The end of our world’s civilizations, societies, economies, institutions, and systems; the end of this age in which we now live, and the destruction of everything we consider familiar. THAT is what we mean by “the end of the world.”And today, we will discuss seven ingredients to the end of the world—some of which are happening in the world right now before our very eyes.The first element of the world’s end we’ll discuss would surprise most of our Hollywood and scientific doomsday planners, since it is something that rarely shows up on their radar. It isn’t an asteroid or a physical threat, at all. It is entirely SPIRITUAL.The first ingredient of the end of the world is RAMPANT WORLDWIDE IMMORALITY AND GODLESSNESS.Ultimately, any civilization stands or falls in connection to its relationship with its Creator. And the beginning of the end of the world lies in an utter abandonment of that relationship.We read of the conditions that result from that rampant immorality and godlessness in the Apostle Paul’s second letter to Timothy. In 2 Timothy 3, starting in verse 1, we read:But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power (2 Timothy 3:1–5).In Matthew 24:12, Jesus Christ described this element of the world’s end, as well, saying, “And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.”This “lawlessness” is not just an abandoning of, say, traffic laws, or tax laws, but a pervasive spirit of casting aside the laws of God. And, frankly, we see that growing today, don’t we? The morality and guidelines of the Bible are increasingly cast aside as archaic and out-of-date—even as the world grows all the colder, crueler, and more loveless for it.It is this moral and spiritual dimension of the end of the world that enables all the others. Yet, for all of our worries concerning the environment, or nuclear war, or health regulations, it is our devotion to God that goes neglected. And it is our lack of devotion to God that will initiate the end of the world.The next ingredient to the world’s end is UNPRECEDENTED PESTILENCE, FAMINE, AND NATURAL DISASTERS.Of course, we live with these concerns in our lives today. Pestilence, or disease, has plagued mankind from its earliest days, and the nightmarish years of COVID-19—both the disease itself and our governments’ fumbling attempts to deal with it—will not be soon forgotten. Famine has long ravaged various populations of the earth, sometimes due to weather or soil conditions, but also due to human cruelty or incompetence—such as the forced starvation of Ukrainians by the Soviet government in the early 1930s that killed millions. Is it Possible to Know Gods Plan? Tomorrows World 2022-03-18 | There is one fundamental Biblical question which arises frequently and yet is all too often met with a collective shrug of the shoulders, a meaningless platitude or an answer that doesn’t match what we see in the world around us. This question is asked anytime we are faced with calamity, whether that be on an individual basis, or collectively. How often have others, with complete sincerity, offered “It’s all part of God’s plan” as a source of comfort in times of trouble? The problem is, that is often as far as anyone goes in describing that plan.
