I was mulling over how to do the ice wall as there are so many different ways but getting the translucent look was an issue. I did the ice cavern a few months ago and transparent filament was the answer but my ice wall was too big for my current printers. Before I sliced it up into little pieces to fit on my existing printers, Elegoo stepped in and offered me their new Neptune 3 PLUS. It is a sweet printer and has worked really well. This was so bad - my first attempt went in the bin! Building an Original Mecha Kathy Millatt 2022-12-09 | This week, I have finally edited up my over 6 month build of the OMC Gryphon. It took me several false starts and I really don't like the end result. It ran away from me. I wish I had 3D printed it as I understand how to model with that medium but this was all scratchbuilding or kitbashing and I don't really have skills in those areas. The Ultimate Rain Scene - Jurassic Park - NO PHOTOSHOP! Kathy Millatt 2022-04-21 | A couple of years' ago I did a rainy downtown block but I struggled to add the rain except in photoshop. I got a few rude comments about that! I was determined to create a diorama with rain and record it all in camera with no photoshop manipulation. What better scene than from Jurassic Park with the jeep sinking into the mud and a T-Rex roaring at you!
