Over the last week or so, I've been practicing by doing small sets per day, and I got one worth sharing! Of course, it's not perfect by any means as I have made some mistakes (even in this one by mispressing the play/pause button and scrambling to choose the last song), but I think I got the basics down to make it all listenable and engaging. It's only 48 seconds long and was included in the ARG for it, featured on the secret website that's in the QR code of the last song (DIg It) embedded into spectral audio. I had a wild idea where I'd try to finish/extend the song with my own touch to it, with no contact and my only assistance being an AI stem splitter. I was surprised by the results of the splitter (albeit not perfect), so I went to work and saw what I could do. This experiment is what came of it.I'd say that the song is faithful to the original demo style-wise, but I added my own stuff on top, including new parts, new elements, and better/normalised mixing (the original's *very* loud). Because this demo is mostly the same structure-wise, I was unsure how to tag it, whether it was an edit, remix, bootleg, rework, or whatever. So, I called it an 'extended bootleg'.Hope y'all enjoy :D

I remember looking around a game I used to frequent in 2016, ActiveWorlds, and browsing all the worlds that were void of any players. Sadly though, that concept never came to light, and all that was left was around 2 demos. this is one of those demos.5. 04-26-22 [demo] (11:58)dated: april 26th, 2022BLUE WORLD outtake. Got severe ear burn-out from it after working on it for a total of 13 hours, so I gave up working on it. In my opinion, I think that it encapsulates that era of internet music. I had only seen this song show up again about a year ago because it became more popular than it sorta was back then, and it unlocked memories I forgot from *years* ago. Listening to it nowadays makes me feel really euphoric, and rediscovering it felt refreshing. It just feels special because I have known about that song since 2015 and immediately knew where I first heard it from.I wanted this remix to stay faithful to the original with the melodies and energy, while also putting my own flip on it, and I think it has worked out to the best of my abilities. I haven't had this much fun working on a remix like this in a long while, I thought it'd just be like a thing that wouldn't work out and leave it as an 8-bar loop, never to be touched again, but something just clicked and I had to keep working on it.I'm glad I was able to put my own spin on this classic.
