Im not dead {just on hiatus} Bleedgirl 2018-03-22 | So... since it's been so long since I posted a video and even longer since I replied to messages I figured I should give at least a small explanation for my absence... and apologize to all the people who texted me and I never answered: I didn't want to ignore everyone, but let's just say a while ago life got really stressful (I won't get into details), my channel was just adding gasoline to the fire so I de-activated all notifications, for comments, messages, everything. I thought it would be just for a short while, but it turned into a longer time, my will to make videos kept fading and without even realising the 'short period' turned into almost a year. So... I decided to make this short announcement, I'm not disappearing or leaving Youtube or anything like that, but I guess I am kind on hiatus. I was thinking of showing some adventures, Merlin teaching her to write, Hazel/Eilonwy having tea with Arthur, they defeating a dragon (Maleficent, of course...) together, and then them all grown up (Arthur could be portrayed by Phoebus and Hazel by Aurora), getting married... It was a lovely project but... I just couldn't finish it, and this has been sitting in my project folder unfinished for so long it started to really bug me. Tried to finish it, I couldn't so... i decided to upload what I had and at least getting rid of this bother XDSo here it is!I also want to specify, Eilonwy wasn't the first character I picked for the role, I thought of many and the one that looked more likely to be Hazel was Melody but... as much as Melody would have had some great scenes, Eilonwy just seemed to be written for the part! It looks so simple in the end, but I almost went nuts with all the layers and effects and typography and colouring... oh well, here it is! I just hope it's good enough! xPStory:Lilo is a seven years old girl, she's in the car with a social worker: she has just been taken away from her family and she's on her way to her new home, though obviously she's not really happy about it.The driver gets distracted and doesn't notice the little deer on the street, as they hit him he stops the car and gets out to check on the animal (he doesn't say what happened to Lilo cause 'sorry, we might have just killed Bambi' wasn't exactly something that he wanted to add to Lilo's bad day). He doesn't realise he's leaving the car open, and Lilo takes advantage of the situation and runs away. As she finds a fence in the woods she understands she must be close to some house, so she follows it and reaches widow Tweed's house. The old woman is surprised to see a little girl all alone, but nonetheless she invites her in and tells her she can stay as long as she wants. Lilo is reluctant at first, but soon she comes to enjoy the situation.Notes:- I'm not claiming Winston, I just needed a face character to cover the role of the driver/social worker, the only character I'm claiming is Lilo- When Lilo runs away she doesn't head home, just away from the social worker. Gone Too Soon Bleedgirl 2016-02-26 | This is my part for my own MEP, "Gone too soon.This is a really special video for me, not just cause this is my first MEP and my celebration for being back to the editing world, but also and especially cause it's dedicated to my grandma and everything in the video is something connected to me and her. This song always made me think of her :)Well, I hope you'll like it!Now, for the curious ones, some personal details that are kinda connected to the video: (you don't need to read them, obviously, just... take this as a vent part on my account XD just... if you wanna read them, piece of advice, do it after you watch the video)- My grandma has been and is still now one of the most important persons in my life, she was a second mother, a best friend, a safe heaven, all wrapped up in one. I lost her six years ago and there is still no single day that goes by without me thinking of her. I miss her more than words can express.- I was actually 22 when my grandma passed away, so I wasn't a little kid anymore. Still, that's how I felt. Losing her has been the harshest thing that ever happened in my life, even if I knew it was supposed to happen that didn't make it any easier.- My grandma was a huge Disney fan, we loved to watch disney movies together, especially the old classics. She was also a passionate reader and she definitely transmitted it to me. - "The rescuers" (that you can see playing in the background in the kitchen) is the first movie I ever saw at cinema: I was 2 and I was, of course, with my grandma: she was scared I wouldn't be able to focus and that I would get bored cause I was so young but I actually watched the entire movie barely blinking. I can actually still remember the emotions I felt back then.- "The princess and the frog" (from where I took the book Anne Marie and Widow Tweed are reading) is the last movie we watched together at cinema: when I told her that Disney was doing fairy tales again we were both so excited! We both loved it (even if, at cinema, I spent more time checking on her than watching the movie!)- My grandma was a hardcore fan of hand-drawn animation, when companies started to convert to CGI she was really upset. She changed her mind and said that CGI could be as powerful as hand-drawn and could have as much heart watching "Finding Nemo". That's why there's a Nemo doll on the tea-set table. - "Tangled" was actually supposed to come in theatres before "The princess and the frog": I followed the developing of the movie for years and me and my grandma were really excited about it, Rapunzel was one of our favourite fairy tales. Unluckily, the movie came one year too late. I never managed to watch it with her. That's why I put a Rapunzel's book in the kitchen and then a "Tangled" poster in the 'present day' room. ("Tangled" is also one of my favourite movies ever, although I don't actually have a "Tangled" poster in my room, I have a huge "Up!" poster x3)- When my grandma got sick in her last period, me and my mom turned into her 24/7 nurses. That period was really stressing and I couldn’t focus on anything in the bref free time I had: that’s actually how and why I got on YT and started editing, to seek distraction and stress relief. The only thing I regret is that I never managed to show her my videos. I know she would have loved them.- I actually 'never got to say goodbye': on that last day I woke up feeling sick, I helped my mom a bit but then my mom told me to go rest cause it was really showing I wasn't ok (My grandma didn't notice cause I became a great actress around her in that period, I was always happy and cheerful, but I was the only person that managed to make her smile, I regret nothing). I went to sleep again and woke up several hours later, when I did my grandma was in a coma, and only a few hours later she died. I know it's a stupid regret cause I could do nothing and... I had been there for her all along, but... I still feel like I should have stayed.Well, if you actually read all this, thanks. This is one of the hardest videos I've ever made, not just for all the masking and background and props (made more than 40!) or the challenging stuffs I made, but also for all the tears it has been made with! A calls to arms [PG 13] Bleedgirl 2016-02-13 | This is my second part for Applekiss's MEP "A call to arms", and well... I feel like I need to give some explanations!!! XDFirst thing first though, if you wanna check the MEP you can check it here:youtube.com/watch?v=UDmhkTpfKb8As I already stated, I'm against pedophilia in any form, this video is absolutely not a way to support it, I simply had to pick a really sad theme that involved some kind of lovers and I couldn't repeat the other themes in the same volume and I wanted to be original in that context. To clarify the story, this is a little premise:- Alice is a really sad 12 years old girl, she lives with her mother but she's constantly neglected and she doesn't feel loved. -She meets Dean by accident, he's really kind to her and the two start quickly to develop a relationship.- Two months before the video takes place, Alice runs away from home and goes at Dean's place, Dean is skeptical but she's so desperate he lets her stay.- When Alice's mother realises Alice is not home anymore, she warns the police and they start looking for her and filling the city with 'missing' posters.- Now, I didn't put any hardcore explicit scene in the video (the most she does is sitting on his lap and kissing his cheek XD) so you can even imagine that everything between them it's platonic, that they never had sex and that Dean actually loves her as a sister and she loves him as the kind of family she never had. I like this version better, but to be honest, it's not what I was thinking while editing.Now, the storyline of the video should be really clear (SPOILERS XD): she's with Dean, they are happy, until Kent, a police officer, sees them from a window and recognises the child: he burst in, 'rescues' Alice and arrests Dean. Alice is returned to her mother, who still doesn't give a fuck about her but to prevent her from running away again locks her in her room, leaving her to hear the news about Dean's sentence.Lastly, I want to specify one thing: the real drama here is all about Alice and the fact she was never loved enough and therefore started seeking love whenever she could get it and in any form. She's obviously too young to know what real love is, and Dean... well, if the love is just platonic, as I would like it to be, then he's just an idiot who didn't realise he just kidnapped the kid, if instead he's actually a pedophile, well, he's no better than Alice's mother and even worse, taking advantage of Alice's weakness.So...
