Baldur's Gate 3 is a massive roleplaying game with an epic story, and it lets you play that story as... pretty much anyone. In BG3, your race, class, background and junk are all decided by you but that means the game's writers and designers had to account for a lot of distinct possibilities.

Polygon's Patrick Gill decided to play through Act 1 of Baldur's Gate 3 over and over again, to push the limits of the game's writing and discover exactly how different this game can get depending on what kind of character you roll.
