After much grinding, I got the sub-9:00 I was looking for. I realized after recording that my mic was very quiet compared to everything else. Oops. In my defense I wasn't expecting a PB while in a random call.
I have no complaints for the Minor Circuit. All the fights could have been executed faster, but I made no errors so I'm happy with that.
Major Circuit was rough. Still can't get a flawless Bear in a PB, and I messed up on Great Tiger. I barely hit any 2-frames on Don which made that fight exceedingly slow as well.
I'm extremely happy with the World Circuit. This is my first run where I've gotten through all 5 of these fights with no errors. I need to be able to lock in and replicate this for future PBs.
I'm not sure where to go from here. While this run had 3 fights where I stand to gain considerable time (4 if you count the frame perfect Star Punch on Hippo), it's going to be a struggle to compete with the final 5 fights on this run. I think I might slow down how much time I dedicate to grinding this game, at least until my runs get approved. My next milestone will be to get a sub 8:30, and from there every second is going to really count.
