🛠️ Why the Error Appears
If your joystick displays “Configuration Failed,” it means it does not have an IP address. This commonly happens when the controller is not plugged into a router or DHCP server.
🔧 How to Fix It
You’ll learn how to:
Access the SuperJoy setup menu
Switch from DHCP to Static
Enter a manual IP (recommended: 192.168.100.100)
Set the correct subnet and gateway
Restart the joystick and confirm the new IP
📡 Default PTZOptics Camera IP
Most PTZOptics cameras default to 192.168.100.88, so setting your joystick to the 192.168.100.x range ensures communication.
❗Still Not Working?
You may have:
A bad Ethernet cable
A bad port on your switch
A bad port on the controller
