As I had mentioned in the article, you may also use an old-school Pandora Battery for the so called "cursed" TA-088v3 motherboard (but this cannot be done on PSP 3000s), as long as the Magic Memory Stick is properly set up (uses the new, modern restore softwares: either Aiseirigh or DC10).
The BaryonSweeper is optional for any PSP 1000 or PSP 2000 (including the 8C/TA-088v3 model!), as those may use a classic Pandora instead.
The BaryonSweeper is MANDATORY for any PSP 3000, PSPgo or PSP E1000 though.
