This video is just a public service announcement in regards to the cheap Ebay navigation DVDs. I have heard from several people that the cheap 'bootleg' DVDs can, over time, kill the laser in your MKIV computer. I am now recommending MKIV owners to replace the DVDs with the Genuine BMW counterpart.

For the E39, (MKIV ONLY), the 2015 DVD set (East and West) is BMW part number 65902365699.
