I had the PS2 version (of this and heroes) initially. I really did not like this game.
Heroes at least was stable framerate, but still sluggish. Shadow was on another level of bad framerate though. When many years later I finally got a chance to play the GC version (and this later led to me doing the 2P mod) I found I actually enjoyed the game. I to this day, still don't understand how the PS2 version was released with how poor it runs.
