Today we're taking a look at the Scythe Mugen 6 Dual Fan CPU cooler, the TUF Gaming Alliance / White version of it.
Is this an evolution of a legend or is Scythe actually stuck in the past? I'm not just making these words up. You'll find out what's behind them in today's review.
I should mention, however, that the Mugen 6 is also available with just a single fan attached to it, as well as in the Dual Fan version, like the one we're testing today. Furthermore, there are black and white versions, respectively. On top of that, there's the TUF version featuring ASUS branding.
Unfortunately, that branding comes at a premium. So the regular version of this cooler without any external branding whatsoever might be a lot more appealing.
But can today's Scythe cooler actually even keep up with its competitors, or perhaps even claim a victory or two?
