Update: This is out now (Character Animator 3.4 and later!). Here's a sneak preview of a new feature we're currently testing in our Beta version: Limb IK! Previously limited to just the arms, Limb IK extends more control to the legs as well. Characters can now kick, dance, jump, sit, and more, while giving creators control over functionality like knee bend direction or a ground layer. In addition, you now have control over if your limbs are following the puppet, behavior, or scene level, letting you "pin" hands and feet into place regardless of puppet movement. Check out the "Beta Apps" section of your Creative Cloud app and you can try this out today - we'd love to hear your feedback!
