Preflightly is a new windows program designed for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 as an addon linking tool, helping you only load up what you need for your flights... it's been out in Beta for a week or so now, but whilst some content creators have misleadingly poured praise over the program, the reality is actually quite different.
1 hour 30 minutes of fighting with the software before I hit record for this... and I've now got about 60-65% of my addons missing all thanks to this program sending a wrecking ball through what was an already well-organised system I had in place for my sim...
... so with that, user beware (your experience may vary!) and bear in mind the program will hopefully improve over time as I record this in early June 2026.
What I will say is that I've fed my frustrated experience back to the developer and had good conversation with him. He hopes to deploy a variety of fixes and improvements over the next few weeks to try and solve lots of feedback reported by members of the community who have been using it - so let's see where it ends up.

Personally, I cant notice much has changed but the KEY difference is they have finally (after well over a whole year) fixed the ILS. Inexcusable in the previous version.
