This video essay explores how the modern attention economy functions as an algorithmic "Scream Floor," drawing a direct line from ancient Roman bread and circuses to 1980s 24-hour news cycles and today’s automated social feeds. By pairing high-concept pop-culture allegories (Monsters, Inc. and The Matrix) with academic media theory from Guy Debord and Slavoj Žižek, the critique demonstrates how modern platforms treat human panic and outrage as immediate, cheap energy. To prove this systemic trap, the essay incorporates a real-world controlled experiment deliberately posting a controversial gender-war debate topic on YouTube which triggered a massive spike in engagement and proved that digital algorithms actively incentivize friction and emotional suffering over meaningful dialogue.
I intentionally posted a controversial argument on my channel to test a theory and my analytics exploded. It proved something troubling: our modern media ecosystem operates on the exact same power grid as Monsters, Inc. an economy built on harvesting fear and outrage.

London is often presented as the place where ambition becomes opportunity. But what happens when you grow up outside the capital especially in a working-class community where opportunities, money and cultural diversity feel much harder to access?
In this video, I explore the divide between London, Britain's cities, and the towns and countryside beyond them.
I reflect on growing up in a multicultural but economically struggling town, the experience of being working-class, and what changes when you move through Britain's different social and economic worlds.
There's a strange contradiction at the heart of modern Britain: the people doing the foundational work can live alongside incredible wealth without ever sharing in it. Scaffolding goes up around luxury apartments. Construction workers build the spaces where wealth accumulates. Yet the people doing that work can remain economically and socially stuck.
For Black Britons, there's another layer to this.
Cities can provide something that smaller towns often struggle to offer: anonymity, diversity, community, creative opportunities and the possibility of finding people who share your experiences. But cities also bring their own problems — inequality, isolation, exploitation and the pressure to constantly compete.
So is London really the land of opportunity?
Or are we simply choosing between different forms of struggle?
This is a reflection on class, race, social mobility, belonging, inequality and the growing divide between urban and rural Britain.

Triple agent. Patriot manipulator. Liquid ally. He’s the key to tying together the entire Metal Gear timeline.
“Kept you waiting, huh?” With Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater on the horizon, we need to talk. This isn’t just about a remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. It’s about what happens to a franchise when its creator, Hideo Kojima, is no longer part of it. Konami and Kojima’s split changed gaming history. Now with Delta moving forward without his involvement, we have to ask: Is this a celebration of Metal Gear… or just the remake economy at work? Will Delta stay politically bold — or be censored for modern audiences? And most importantly… are we getting the wrong game entirely? Instead of endless remakes, what if Revolver Ocelot got his own full spy-thriller saga? A game spanning the events between Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, and Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots.
And what about The Boss? A World War II era prequel? Or fixing what went wrong with Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance?
This is part critique. Part fan-fiction. Part love letter to one of gaming’s most important anti-war franchises.
If you’re a Metal Gear fan, this conversation matters.

Metal Gear Solid Delta Metal Gear Solid Remake Kojima and Konami Revolver Ocelot Metal Gear Fan Theory Anti-war message Metal Gear Timeline Snake Eater RemakeFPS Games Suck.Culture Crack2026-02-18 | Is 1st Person or 3rd Person better? In today’s video, we’re settling the ultimate gaming debate: 1st Person vs 3rd Person perspective. Whether you're an FPS enthusiast or an open-world action-adventure fan, the camera angle changes everything—from gameplay immersion and spatial awareness to how you experience the game's setting.
I’m breaking down the pros and cons of both viewpoints using some stunning English-inspired game settings as a backdrop. We’ll discuss:
Immersion & Realism: Does looking through the character’s eyes make the world feel more visceral?
Character Identity: Is 3rd person essential for seeing your "drip" and connecting with the protagonist?
Combat Mechanics: Why First-Person Shooters (FPS) dominate accuracy while Third-Person Shooters (TPS) offer superior tactical awareness.
Motion Sickness & Accessibility: Why Field of View (FOV) and perspective choice matter for comfort.
I reveal my personal preference in the video, but I want to hear from YOU. Are you Team 1st Person for that raw, "I am the character" feel, or Team 3rd Person for the cinematic, wide-angle control?
Is 3rd person actually better than 1st person?
In this video, I break down the real differences between 1st and 3rd person gameplay, including advantages, disadvantages, and which one gives you the edge.
If you've ever wondered which perspective is actually better — this might change your mind.
