Dave The Barbarian - Life on the sea (Fanmade Extended Version) ThatOneLebaneseGuy 2025-06-19 | So I found out about Dave The Barbarian a couple weeks ago and I honestly think it’s one of the funniest cartoons I’ve seen in a while (also a close second favorite Disney show with Brandy and Mr. Whiskers being my all time favorite, nothing will beat it lol). It’s a shame it didn’t get the recognition and love it deserved by Disney :( (They really don’t like shows that take risks and experiment from their traditional style).Anyways this show also features songs in episodes that are very short and brief since they’re mostly done for gags (tho me thinks this was also so they could potentially try to make a dedicated album out of them by making longer versions if the show got enough viewers but it didn’t happen, with only a single Disney channel album that featured the theme song of the show with songs from other shows with it.)My favorite one ended up being this pirate shanty sung by random background characters that appears on Episode 2 (or 9 according to the airing order, they aired this show out of order for some reason) so a couple days ago I was brave enough to somehow extended a short song into a 2 minute extension. Granted it’s not perfect (especially the visuals that aren’t very good) but it’s the best I can do with my limitations.
