Join me for a Parks on the Air activation from the bottom of Kings Canyon — one of the deepest canyons in North America with nearly 7,700 feet of rising above the valley floor. This is extreme ham radio portable operating. We carried the gear down into the canyon, set up along the river, and tested how well HF would propagate out of one of the deepest valleys in the country.
