• (0:16) Shut up!
• (0:29) Don't get caught up in celebrity nonsense, kids, or your heads will swell unpleasantly…
• (0:42) The internet being what it is, Lopunny and Gardevoir of any sort are notoriously prone to rule 34…even though they have a 1:1 male/female gender ratio.
• (5:09) nice programming m8
• (5:12) HP +1, obtained from Sky Gifts, certain treasure chests in harder dungeons (and corresponding Kecleon shops, Secret Bazaars, and Secret Rooms), offers at the Recycle Shop, or a big win with a Prism Ticket.
• (7:22) Derp…weirdest emulator error ever.
• (8:15) And now to explain this dungeon's "fun" gimmick… All Unown have a ~37% chance of dropping a stone corresponding to their letter/symbol; you must collect stones that spell the words "ice", "rock", and "steel" respectively in order to proceed to the chamber of their respective guardian (the titans Regirock, Regice, and Registeel; Regigigas, fought at the end of the dungeon, requires no such puzzle). Otherwise you'll just keep looping; it's possible to spend HOURS on this, so I decided to just Wonder Mail the stones in to prevent unnecessary repetition. And yes, you have to do this EVERY TIME you come here; only partially mitigated by the literal coin flip chance (50%, can't be boosted) of recruiting the Gen. 3 titans (Gigas is 100%). The Unown stones themselves are set-damage (90) throwing items.
• (8:15) JP also uses the English words (instead of their native words), probably because the trio use them in their names.
• (8:15) Like Sky Peak, you can't send for rescues because of the multiple waypoints. Irritatingly enough, you CANNOT save or otherwise simply leave at a waypoint; you're stuck unless you get KO'd, complete the dungeon, or use an Escape Orb.
• (13:45) That's just next-level epic fail! How does a Fighting-type lose against a Steel-type? Let alone an offensive powerhouse (Medicham) against something that's not an attacker? …put that in the "careless" category, then.
• (17:42) The Concealed Ruins, whose treasures are the titans' exclusive items (Regirock, Regice, Registeel: Sashes corresponding to each, halves all physical damage dealt to it; Regigigas: Ancient Ring, protects against status effects). Also has Kecleon shops / Secret Bazaars / Secret Rooms selling/holding some REALLY good items, if you're lucky enough to encounter one.
• (18:51) You all seriously just gave up? …to be fair, they were probably as infuriated by the dungeon's gimmick as most players.
• (19:33) IQ +15; certain treasure chests in endgame dungeons, Gold Ticket or Prism Ticket big win, Zero Isle North B75F (×2).

![Final Fantasy V [PC] (LLG 2/1/1/4) - Golem & undead dragons
If you dont get Golem here, he rarely (6% chance) appears in the waterfall room of the final dungeon (still harassed by the dragons). Final Fantasy V [PC] (LLG 2/1/1/4) - Golem & undead dragons](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/tHqucwGfMTU/mqdefault.jpg)
![Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky - Chapter 19 ~ To the Hidden Land
JP: まぼろしのだいちへ To the Hidden Land
• (2:14) Frozen within a single frame, if you prefer.
• (3:55) Emulator error; the green and black is SUPPOSED to be the same colour as the ocean (i.e. blending in).
• (4:25) This is falling…with style!
• (4:27) But DC Comics told me time was like a river…
• (5:18) Red skies are bad news!
• (5:56) You can return to Treasure Town if you need to do missions for whatever reason; Lapras will wait at the beach.
• (6:22) Floors 6 and 10 are naturally sunny, and some Pokémon like to spam weather moves/abilities for extra fun (All the hail you see? Offscreen Abomasnows.). Watch for Manectrics Lightning Rod! This is a non-themed dungeon, so just use your wisest judgment here.
• (6:52) Standard A attacks can reveal traps.
• (7:01) Those damn Puruglys and their Thick Fats!
• (10:30–10:51) Mew, from which Mewtwo was cloned; Kyogre and Groudon, lords of the sea and earth; Dialga and Palkia, masters of time and space. Palkia is among the best Pokémon for solo exploration (lol nice wall m8), as long as you dont take it to a level 1/IQ-disabling dungeon; take it to Zero Isle North (once youve maxed its IQ) for semi-consistent stat-boost item farming. That said, the Drifloon line rivals it due to Unburden (attacks twice at no extra cost as long as you arent holding an item; pair with Quick Striker to have your regular attack strike out four times!) and Trap Seer (unseen traps wont trigger upon initial reveal; probably the biggest advantage they have against Palkia). Youll have to stock up on restoration items for the balloons, though, since they lack Multitalent, and Unburden and things like Stamina Bands/Tight Belts are mutually exclusive in function.
• (11:33) Oh come on, theyre just funkily-written Latin letters!
• (12:26) Dun-dun-DUUUUUUUUUUUN!
• (12:38) What, you didnt think theyd make it THAT easy, did you?
• (13:49) This fight is adapted in the MDS anime special: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u_jzm0Mo3nk (we parkour now)
• (14:42) Keep talking and I might actually believe you, oh wait no I wouldnt.
• (14:44) Hes borrowing power from a legendary, so…incidentally, thats probably how he built up his reputation of being a renowned explorer in the first place!
• (15:36) Remember kids, Ghost is weak against itself! (The anime has them [Grovyle + Piplup + Chimchar] use an Energy Ball/Whirlpool/Fire Spin combo attack to deflect the Shadow Ball.)
• (19:46) Theres that line! Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky - Chapter 19 ~ To the Hidden Land](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/th6SqASv4Gs/mqdefault.jpg)
![Final Fantasy V [PC] (LLG 2/1/1/4) - Archeoaevis
Fuck it, Im done trying to further optimise this thing. (The safe strategy has you spam water scrolls, since all of its forms take normal damage from that element, and its too slow to get the jump on speed-optimised Ninja after each formchange.)
Take off Galufs equipment _immediately_ after this fight, as hell leave for a while once you enter the crystal chamber.
The Chemists !Mix command (obtained after this fight) is _the_ single most overpowered command in the game, so naturally the most potent mixing ingredients cant be bought (ie. theyre enemy drops and/or steals). And you _will_ need it for LLGs. Final Fantasy V [PC] (LLG 2/1/1/4) - Archeoaevis](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/u45ZMLzrDQo/mqdefault.jpg)
![Final Fantasy V [PC] (LLG 2/1/1/4) - Shiva
Youll lose her forever if you dont fight her before leaving the first world. (Not that you were going to use her in a LLG anyway.) Steal Mythril Swords from Ice Soldiers in this area for cash, since you obviously cant beat stuff freely. Final Fantasy V [PC] (LLG 2/1/1/4) - Shiva](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/uOaTZnjSEFM/mqdefault.jpg)

![Final Fantasy V [PC] (LLG 2/1/1/4) - Wendigo
This thing has the false image toggle that Neo Shinryu is so infamous for, though its not _quite_ as obnoxious about it (theres always a vulnerable target on field, and you can nullify the Frost counters with Flame Rings). And yes, I forgot to steal Dragon Fangs back in world 2…oh well. Final Fantasy V [PC] (LLG 2/1/1/4) - Wendigo](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/w0i1eq5Ane8/mqdefault.jpg)

![Final Fantasy V [PC] (LLG 2/1/1/4) - Leviathan
When boosted, Leviathan is the most powerful summon in the game…except theres _no_ water-boosting item (not even in GBA—they went out of their way for that!); you need to use Elemental Power mix for it. So Syldra continues to be the most efficient, since you can just buy Air Knives and spam her with impunity. (Not that any of this matters in a LLG anyway.) ![Final Fantasy V [PC] (LLG 2/1/1/4) - Gilgamesh #4
Even if you dont care for the other Genji equipment, you _must_ fight him here for a chance to get the Genji Shield later on.
よし ここからは本気で戦わしてもらうぜ! ギルガメッシュチェーンジ!! Very well—from now on, allow me to fight in full earnest! Gilgamesh change! (Sounds a lot less obnoxious than EN, doesnt it.)
Exdeath is a cheat! (Banish ignores instant death immunity but misses heavy enemies, like Gilgamesh here; its effectively an inverse Death.) Final Fantasy V [PC] (LLG 2/1/1/4) - Gilgamesh #4](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/xD4TQK8TjRY/mqdefault.jpg)

![Final Fantasy V [PC] (LLG 2/1/1/4) - Titan
He has a Gaia Hammer rare steal, a late-game weapon (!) that boosts earth-elemental damage by 50% and has a 25% chance of casting Earthquake. Of course, this doesnt really matter in a LLG, and is probably not worth it in a normal one either. Final Fantasy V [PC] (LLG 2/1/1/4) - Titan](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/yAhV4K4tusA/mqdefault.jpg)
