• (0:55) Oops…this is what happens when you edit stuff while half-asleep.
• (1:41) The next two dungeons are all Water all the time, so no Vulpix for now. Kingdra has hard-hitting Hydro Pumps and is only weak to Dragon (a type you likely don't have moves for), but otherwise just use common sense in this dungeon.
• (1:41) There's a Surrounded Sea "deep dungeon"-style remix called Random Dungeon Theme 1, which is exactly as it says; it plays randomly in certain dungeons.
• (4:10) These Deluxe Boxes always contain Reviver Seeds.
• (6:29) And this is why I told you to save two Blue Gummis way back when; for Manaphy.
• (7:05) I would assume they went exploring…
• (7:23) And you know that Swellow's a male because he uses the masculine オレ in JP.
• (7:34) A treasure that's entirely pointless for you… (Red Silk, +10 Sp. Atk & +7 Sp. Def to Fire-types)
• (7:41) Some dungeons, like the aforementioned Midnight Forest, contain treasure rooms that require a key to unlock; the purple Kecleon occasionally sells keys for 8000p, and they may randomly appear in Aegis Cave, Zero Isle West, and Zero Isle South. The latter two dungeons have guaranteed keys on B1F (as those dungeons do have locked rooms), but good luck finding an Escape Orb to get away with them safely… The treasure rooms generally contain rare and useful items; stat boosters, exclusive items for Legends and Mythicals, etc.
• (8:22) Not Goomy, Gummi!
• (17:03) Watch out for the Carvanha line's Rough Skin (if damaged by an adjacent Pokémon directly, half of that damage rebounds onto the attacker), Mantine's STAB Bounce (can cause paralysis) and Wing Attack, and the Remoraid line's projectile attacks (especially Bullet Seed…); but by FAR the most annoying Pokémon are Chinchou and Lanturn with their Volt Absorb (take a wild guess) and YET MORE DISCHARGE SPAM
• (20:27) This key room can contain either a Silver Veil (Lugia: enemies lose more PP than usual, stacks with Pressure), a Seabed Veil (Kyogre: +1 to movement speed in the rain), or an Air Blade (Palkia: flat ×1.5 boost to damage dealt).
• (21:21) Why do so many people translate this sort of line literally…even the notoriously inconsistent Kingdom Hearts localisers understood the metaphor… (intended meaning: "you're out of my league").
• (21:33) Watch out for IQ skill Counter Basher (12.5% chance to reflect damage taken onto an adjacent attacker).
• (22:09) Coming here again will give you a once-per-file guaranteed Phione recruit.

![Final Fantasy V [PC] (LLG 2/1/1/4) - Exdeath #2 & Neo Exdeath
So wait, the armoured humanoid isnt humanoid-type, but the tree is? (And yes, I know you can see his armoured form at the top, but most peoples eyes are drawn to the tree-face.) Neo is a haphazard fusion of creatures cast into the Void, so all the differing properties _there_ are understandable.
There are few problems in this game that cant be solved with enough money. (Well, there _are_ the superbosses.) Of course, you shouldnt feel any shame for using an option the designers explicitly provide.
It plays the main theme if you enter the fight directly from the cutscene instead. Final Fantasy V [PC] (LLG 2/1/1/4) - Exdeath #2 & Neo Exdeath](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/rJqsw49EfuM/mqdefault.jpg)
![Final Fantasy VI [PC] - Number 128
Not like I was going to use Cyan anyway…
The mine cart ride is notorious among low-level players, being one of two (?) sequences with unavoidable experience gain, and having to juggle with the RNG to minimise such (you can manipulate this in the SNES version, but Im not aware of any similar strat in GBA-onward). GBA players wont have to worry about the Kazekiri quite as much, since Number 128 can be fought again in the Soul Shrine. ![Final Fantasy V [PC] (LLG 2/1/1/4) - Atomos
You _will_ want that Gold Hairpin from the 9F monster-in-a-box; catch whatever appears to prevent EXP gain. Yellow Dragons Lightning (and similar fractional attacks) isnt as useful in this version since they arent auto-hit anymore; I dont know if Pixel Remaster has that issue.
Dark Spark is a 23% chance to land, so this methodll take several tries. (Can increase level and therefore hit rate with Samsons Might mix.) Final Fantasy V [PC] (LLG 2/1/1/4) - Atomos](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/sNMAdZNKiTk/mqdefault.jpg)
![Final Fantasy VI [PC] - Red Dragon #2
You can safely wait out the expiration timer (100 ticks, or just under 2 minutes, from battles start) in-between Quick turns. Otherwise you have to survive its onslaught of powerful fire spells and physical attacks (and its instant death special), since its completely invincible (barring extreme luck with Setzers slots). ![Final Fantasy V [PC] (LLG 2/1/1/4) - Golem & undead dragons
If you dont get Golem here, he rarely (6% chance) appears in the waterfall room of the final dungeon (still harassed by the dragons). Final Fantasy V [PC] (LLG 2/1/1/4) - Golem & undead dragons](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/tHqucwGfMTU/mqdefault.jpg)
![Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky - Chapter 19 ~ To the Hidden Land
JP: まぼろしのだいちへ To the Hidden Land
• (2:14) Frozen within a single frame, if you prefer.
• (3:55) Emulator error; the green and black is SUPPOSED to be the same colour as the ocean (i.e. blending in).
• (4:25) This is falling…with style!
• (4:27) But DC Comics told me time was like a river…
• (5:18) Red skies are bad news!
• (5:56) You can return to Treasure Town if you need to do missions for whatever reason; Lapras will wait at the beach.
• (6:22) Floors 6 and 10 are naturally sunny, and some Pokémon like to spam weather moves/abilities for extra fun (All the hail you see? Offscreen Abomasnows.). Watch for Manectrics Lightning Rod! This is a non-themed dungeon, so just use your wisest judgment here.
• (6:52) Standard A attacks can reveal traps.
• (7:01) Those damn Puruglys and their Thick Fats!
• (10:30–10:51) Mew, from which Mewtwo was cloned; Kyogre and Groudon, lords of the sea and earth; Dialga and Palkia, masters of time and space. Palkia is among the best Pokémon for solo exploration (lol nice wall m8), as long as you dont take it to a level 1/IQ-disabling dungeon; take it to Zero Isle North (once youve maxed its IQ) for semi-consistent stat-boost item farming. That said, the Drifloon line rivals it due to Unburden (attacks twice at no extra cost as long as you arent holding an item; pair with Quick Striker to have your regular attack strike out four times!) and Trap Seer (unseen traps wont trigger upon initial reveal; probably the biggest advantage they have against Palkia). Youll have to stock up on restoration items for the balloons, though, since they lack Multitalent, and Unburden and things like Stamina Bands/Tight Belts are mutually exclusive in function.
• (11:33) Oh come on, theyre just funkily-written Latin letters!
• (12:26) Dun-dun-DUUUUUUUUUUUN!
• (12:38) What, you didnt think theyd make it THAT easy, did you?
• (13:49) This fight is adapted in the MDS anime special: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u_jzm0Mo3nk (we parkour now)
• (14:42) Keep talking and I might actually believe you, oh wait no I wouldnt.
• (14:44) Hes borrowing power from a legendary, so…incidentally, thats probably how he built up his reputation of being a renowned explorer in the first place!
• (15:36) Remember kids, Ghost is weak against itself! (The anime has them [Grovyle + Piplup + Chimchar] use an Energy Ball/Whirlpool/Fire Spin combo attack to deflect the Shadow Ball.)
• (19:46) Theres that line! Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky - Chapter 19 ~ To the Hidden Land](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/th6SqASv4Gs/mqdefault.jpg)
![Final Fantasy V [PC] (LLG 2/1/1/4) - Archeoaevis
Fuck it, Im done trying to further optimise this thing. (The safe strategy has you spam water scrolls, since all of its forms take normal damage from that element, and its too slow to get the jump on speed-optimised Ninja after each formchange.)
Take off Galufs equipment _immediately_ after this fight, as hell leave for a while once you enter the crystal chamber.
The Chemists !Mix command (obtained after this fight) is _the_ single most overpowered command in the game, so naturally the most potent mixing ingredients cant be bought (ie. theyre enemy drops and/or steals). And you _will_ need it for LLGs. Final Fantasy V [PC] (LLG 2/1/1/4) - Archeoaevis](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/u45ZMLzrDQo/mqdefault.jpg)
![Final Fantasy V [PC] (LLG 2/1/1/4) - Shiva
Youll lose her forever if you dont fight her before leaving the first world. (Not that you were going to use her in a LLG anyway.) Steal Mythril Swords from Ice Soldiers in this area for cash, since you obviously cant beat stuff freely. Final Fantasy V [PC] (LLG 2/1/1/4) - Shiva](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/uOaTZnjSEFM/mqdefault.jpg)

![Final Fantasy V [PC] (LLG 2/1/1/4) - Wendigo
This thing has the false image toggle that Neo Shinryu is so infamous for, though its not _quite_ as obnoxious about it (theres always a vulnerable target on field, and you can nullify the Frost counters with Flame Rings). And yes, I forgot to steal Dragon Fangs back in world 2…oh well. Final Fantasy V [PC] (LLG 2/1/1/4) - Wendigo](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/w0i1eq5Ane8/mqdefault.jpg)
