This website called photofunia.com allows you to upload a picture and superimpose it on money, billboards, artistic shots and more. The site is not appropriate for kids and has questionable material, but I’ve yet to find an easier site with more options and filters that make pictured feel bigger than life and creative. Things that shock my non teacher friends The Whimsical Teacher 2018-11-07 | After a few conversations with old friends about teacher life, I realized that maybe the general public’s perception of teachers and how we spend our time is a little off. This video isn’t meant to gripe about the profession- I think being a teacher is the greatest job in the world. But there are a lot of misconceptions- like do you ever wonder when teachers plan all their lessons? Do you think teachers are given lots of time to plan lessons and grade papers? While an hour a day may be built into some schedules for prep time, it’s not enough time to do the job. Also, many teachers don’t get prep time at all. This leaves teachers working night and weekend hours to get their work done. It’s just the teacher life. We all know it and expect it. I go over a few other interesting tidbits I got from my non teacher friends in the video. Leave me a comment if you can think of any more!
Getting Rid of a Teacher Migraine The Whimsical Teacher 2018-11-06 | Today is day 5 of my 30 day Vlogging challenge, and I sort of panicked because I woke up with a bad headache that turned into a migraine. I was worried that I wouldn't get any vlogging done because I was miserable and so sick. Right before lunch, I decided that I was going to go home, but my coworker came and gave me some of her brother’s essential oils. The oils worked and within 10 mind, my migraine was gone. I wasn't expecting the oil to work as I have tried essential oils before.. But this one worked and it got rid of my teacher migraine. Watch the video to learn about the oil and where to try it. This isn't an advertisement -- just so happy I kicked a migraine before I took a day off of work!
