Plant based burger-tastes like the real thing.
In this video, I’m going to be making a plant based burger that taste close to a regular hamburger. I will be using black beans, lentils, mushrooms, oats, chickpeas, nutritional yeast, cornstarch, in lieu of, tapioca, starch, salt, and pepper to taste. You can also add parsley and beetroot if you so choose
Recipe:
1/2 cup lentils cooked one can black beans 15.5 ounces one container of brown mushrooms, half a cup of old-fashioned oats, half a cup of chickpeas, mashed a quarter cup of nutritional yeast, a tablespoon of cornstarch, salt, and pepper to taste.
Directions: Cook the lentils until soft if you’re not using cooked black beans and you must cook the beans first if you’re using canned black beans, drain them sauté the mushrooms add all of this to a food processor and process until combined shape into patties and place into a very hot skillet sear on both sides and then cook until done.
