Procedural planets look great until you want to place your own content on one — a base, a village, a landing pad. The terrain is curved and streaming, so a hand-built structure ends up floating or buried. This update fixes that.

Exclusion volumes flatten the procedural terrain into a genuinely flat pad (toward the tangent plane, not a spherical cap) and clear the foliage and grass, so you can drop hand-authored content straight onto a streaming planet. In this video I place a landing pad and buildings inside an exclusion volume on a planet, and the flatten stays seam-free across chunk borders.

Shipping now in PlanetGen V1.9 and SpaceKit V1.1, along with a depth-tinted ocean and more.

🚀 SPACEKIT — COMPLETE SPACE GAME TEMPLATE
────────────────────────────────────────
SpaceKit puts planets, gravity, and a pilotable starship together into one playable loop: explore on foot, board your ship, fly to another world, land, and step out. Everything in this video, in one plugin.

And update the "GET THE PLUGINS" block to include SpaceKit as a listing option, so viewers can grab either the individual plugin or the whole template:

🪐 WHAT'S NEW
────────────────────────────────────────
✔ Exclusion volumes — flatten a flat build pad on a curved planet and clear foliage/grass, for landing pads, villages, points of interest and streamed sub-levels. Seam-free across chunks, works on planets and ring worlds.
✔ Actor spawner — scatter real actors (ore, plants, wildlife, enemies, loot) filtered by biome, slope and altitude. Deterministic, streamed around the player, respects exclusion volumes.
✔ Depth-tinted ocean — turquoise shallows fading to deep navy, shoreline foam, clear shallows revealing the seabed. Opaque, so it sorts behind the clouds from orbit.
✔ Volumetric clouds fixed on UE 5.4 / 5.5.
