This glitch allows you to skip almost all fights in Act 3. The requirements are being able to stand up from the table (getting to the 2nd checkpoint), and have at least 1 blue buff station of some kind available to you. (Basically anything that isn't a normal card choice or a shop).
Then, all you need to do is, in a relatively quick motion, stand up from the table, sit down while spam clicking on the buff station, then stand up and sit down again. Then, the buff station will appear, but you'll still be on the map.
If you then go into a fight, then apply the buff to a card, the game will kick you back to the map while the fight is still going on, effectively skipping the fight.
The video goes over more of the nuance of the trick.

Two seconds removed off final time due to bug with the load remover (22:53.5-22:54.4, 23:27.7-23:28.9)
This is probably as good as I'll take this category for now, unless another skip is found.
See the comments for a breakdown of the run since I'm bored (too long for the description lol)Hell Pie - 18 Ing Speedrun - 43:31 (Former WR) (8/3 Patch)Shadow the Past2022-08-04 | I wanted to keep pushing pre-patch but if I play on pre-patch, it keeps crashing, so doing post-patch for now. Adding IT is basically the only reason this run is faster than my last pre-patch run.
New patch has slower autosaves so losing a lot of time compared to pre-patch. Sub 43 is easily doable, maybe optimistic for sub 42, might need another skip.Hell Pie - 18 Ing. Speedrun - 44:54 (WR) (Pre-patch)Shadow the Past2022-08-02 | Yay sub 45. First run not using glitchy nugget in Supermarket and skipping unlocking all the elevators and just backswing clipped into all of them. Then all the chef dialogue stacked up at the very end, then had to watch the heaven door get unlocked. If I knew which dialogue was the end, I could've save and quitted to save another 15 seconds. Also got stuck on one elevator clip and lost 20 seconds. And some other mistakes of course.Hell Pie Speedrunning - Elevator Hallway Backswing WallclipShadow the Past2022-08-01 | This opens the possibility to a 1 ingredient run, or even saving time in normal categories if you want to clip through the door every single time you go to the elevators lol. A big caveat to this is that you no longer get to have the free warp back to the Chef when you get X amount of ingredients, which is a major issue.Hell Pie - 18 Ing Speedrun - 46:23Shadow the Past2022-08-01 | Pretty solid, minor mistakes at the beginning. Got to use the Sewers OoB. Heaven could've been a smidge better.Hell Pie - 18 Ing Speedrun - 47:47Shadow the Past2022-07-30 | Of course had to die on the Hell Pie fight lol. Can also save more time in Heaven on the shortcut I didn't doHell Pie Speedrunning - Pus Eye Wallclip TutorialShadow the Past2022-07-30 | The setup is going to depend on your monitor setup, but what you want to do is:
1. Wedge yourself into the window as shown, have the camera point straight down while facing the gate, and hold down (otherwise your idle animation will cause the camera to shift). 2. In the upper right of the screen, there should be "OPEN" text on one of the fliers. Have the upper right part of the "N" be touching the very edge of your screen. 3. When you're ready, jump and swing almost immediately after (not too early or you'll hit the floor) 4. You should clip through
If you get wedged between the wall and the destroyable gate, you can still make it through if you clipped far enough. Just wiggle around for a moment trying to get through to the other side. If that doesn't work, you'll need to go back out the other way (dashing should bonk you out of the wall.) There's a low chance you get completely stuck in the wall.Hell Pie - 18 Ingredients Speedrun - 50:48Shadow the Past2022-07-30 | Could've easily sub-49'd but had to die halfway through Heaven then choke getting back. Also panicked after getting the God dialogue skip and wasn't sure if the Clay properly collected.Hell Pie Speedrunning - Glitchy Nugget / Nugget WallclipShadow the Past2022-07-28 | Edit: Disregard the comment about not being worth it for 18 ingredients, it's definitely worth it with some slight rerouting to get 2 swings when you need them.
Tutorial on how to do the glitchy nugget / nugget wallclip trick.
Requirements: 1. Level with the in-ground checkpoints you crawl out of (NOT the teleporters) 2. An unclaimed upgrade can 3. Nugget
To do the wallclip in Supermarket specifically: 1. Get to the 3rd checkpoint (right after getting Nugget) 2. Dash in front of the can, pause before claiming the can, then respawn at checkpoint. (Doesn't need to be a dash, but that's easiest) 3. Nugget is now glitchy. The further away from the checkpoint you get, the glitchier he gets. 4. Get far enough away from the checkpoint so that Nugget's movement is fast enough to clip you through the wall. 5. Face away from the wall you want to clip through. (If you don't face away, you'll likely just wall-slide against the wall). 6. As Nugget starts moving up and towards the wall, double jump and grapple, and nugget should drag you through the wall.Bird Fight BalloonlessShadow the Past2022-04-11 | This trick isn't fully understood. But after landing the 3rd hit on the bird, if you move to the right with enough speed for 8-10 seconds, it seems that the balloon (which is trying to move right to catch up with you) will move on top of where the bird is/was after the 3rd hit, thus instantly completing the last phase of the fight.
It's not yet clear if this is speed dependent, distance dependent, or timing dependent. This saves ~15 seconds over the Princess Pull method.Super Mario 64 - 16 Star Speedrun - 19:09 (PB)Shadow the Past2022-02-27 | Could've been sub-19 but of course had to choke on Bowser 3 lol.Super Mario 64 - 16 Star Speedrun - 19:39Shadow the Past2022-02-06 | I skipped 20:XX somehow.

Thank you to my friends in the community joining me on commentary, torqqes, SteelOsprei, and especially Noah for waking up so early to join us.
Since I had to prepare a save file to use for the donation incentive of using the boyfriend skin + princess crown (thus skipping the initial 10 seconds of New Game), 10 seconds have been added on to the final time.
Note that this is a special exception to the rule of "No savefile editing".Webbed - Princess Pull + Mech Attach SkipShadow the Past2022-01-03 | By webbing the Princess bee to the mech with enough webs, she'll pull the mech without breaking the webs. She moves to pre-determined positions based on where you are relative to the balloon, and this little spot on the back of the mech ant puts her in a good position to be webbed.
Weave webs FROM the princess TO the mech. That way, if you miss, you can quickly release the web and start a new web. (If you do it FROM the mech TO the princess and miss, you can't fire additional webs while the missed web flies off into the sky.)
Web 10+ (? not sure exact amount needed, more is better) webs to the princess, then get on the bird to have the princess pull the mech.
Stand on the neck of the bird and aim your cursor in the upper right. When you see the reticle appear, indicating you can web where you're aiming, jump off the left side of the bird and laser upwards. If you did it right, the princess should pull the mech far enough forward to trigger the cutscene, and you should fall into the load zone early to skip the cutscene of the mech attaching to the bird.
If the princess detaches from the mech, you either didn't web enough, or got too far away too fast. (She moves faster the further away you are, and thus is able to break the webs easier).Webbed - Any% Former WR Speedrun - 18:22Shadow the Past2021-12-19 | New strats carrying me to WR. This alt setup is less of a skill check, no need to wildly follow the mandible as you're lasering, just go straight up and micro-adjust as you're flying. Plus the webs are in a good spot where you can destroy them easily.Inscryption - Any% Former WR Speedrun - 1:24:55Shadow the Past2021-11-05 | Wasn't expecting to get WR but ok lol. Got lucky with Bone Heap from the pack in Act 2, but lost like a minute due to forgetting to skip the cutscene after Golly.Webbed - Mech Ant Leg Journal TransitionShadow the Past2021-10-12 | To do this:
1. Enter the top-left mech ant leg room once normally, then go back out. (You must do this or the trick doesn't work.) 2. Go back into the top-left room again, this time opening journal as you hit the load zone. Keep it open for about 1.5 seconds.
The ant-leg part should now have launched out of the box it's trapped in. Most times, it will bounce into the pit, which makes it easy enough to complete.
If you have the journal open for just the right amount of time, you can get a boost from the pistons snapping back into place, like I do here.
Imagine losing 6 seconds cause you got the boyfriend stuck hahahahaha.Webbed - Any% Former WR Speedrun - 20:29Shadow the Past2021-10-03 | (Beginning is black cause I started the run before OBS noticed I'd opened Webbed.) Took like 10 failed balloon-ride skips to get here lol. Not sub-20, so the grind continues.Webbed - Fuel Pipes Alt SetupShadow the Past2021-09-27 | Web the front of the two pipes together like so, attaching the 2nd point of the web to the wall, then shoot the part connected to the wall. Hover up while holding on the top part, and they *should* both get into their slots. (Be sure to web the top part down like I do, otherwise it may fall out.)Webbed - Any% Former WR Speedrun - 20:45Shadow the Past2021-09-27 | If you'd told me on Friday I'd break sub-21 by the end of the weekend, I don't think I'd believe you.Webbed - Any% Former WR Speedrun - 21:18Shadow the Past2021-09-26 | Alright, sub-21 is definitely real.Webbed - Opening Cutscene SkipShadow the Past2021-09-26 | Note: This isn't optimal webbing, see WR runs for optimal method.
By webbing the shit out of the wood pieces like so, you can squeeze through the gap to skip the 30 second opening cutscene.
First, laser the boyfriend into the pit so he can't start the cutscene. You want to web the bottom wood ~50 times. Once it's relatively open, try to squeeze through. If you can't quite get through, web the top wood towards the right towards the exit, and you should make it through.
I got through the exit at ~:40, whereas normally it takes ~:57 with the cutscene.
We knew about this, we just didn't think it was fast lol.Webbed - Any% Former WR Speedrun - 21:53Shadow the Past2021-09-26 | Just a casual WR while in voice with my college buds lol.Webbed - Any% Former WR Speedrun - 22:06Shadow the Past2021-09-25 | Could've been the sub-22 but alas.Webbed - Any% Former WR Speedrun - 22:26Shadow the Past2021-09-24 | Last PB - Best Sky Bower of my life This PB - The exact oppositeWebbed - Fuel Gears Item HoverShadow the Past2021-09-24 | Have the gear slightly left/right of center of the slot on the ceiling. Then stand on top of it, in the center, and left web it. Item hover while holding W to go straight up, then turn right/left right before you're about to bonk on the ceiling. (If you're to the left of the slot, turn right, and vice versa.)
Alternatively, once you get close to the slot, switch from a left-web to a right-web to attach the cog close to the slot. Then you can land and web it into place like normal.
Not really sure if it's faster, but it sure looks slick.Webbed - Any% Former WR Speedrun - 22:44Shadow the Past2021-09-21 | You're gunna nut when you see this Sky BowerWebbed - Ant Elevator SkipShadow the Past2021-09-20 | Using a Journal Transition as the room loads, the one way metal door will spaz out, allowing us to walk through. The timing on opening the journal is VERY strict, right as the screen goes fully black.
The only cue that you might have timed it right is by looking at the map and seeing which dot you're on. There's two close to each other; if you're on the upper left one, you're still in the original room and need to try to advance a few frames. If you're on time/late, you'll be on the lower right dot and should keep keep the journal open for 3-4 seconds (long enough for the door to spaz out) and see if it worked.
This saves ~5-8 seconds versus doing the ant elevator normally, assuming first try.
More technical notes: There appears to be a frame/frames where the game will not accept your journal inputs. This input-eating window appears to be right before the window where you want to actually open the journal for the journal transition. This means that if you're early, trying to open and close the journal frame-perfect will likely hit this input-eating window, causing you to miss it. This means you want to slightly delay re-opening the journal, so that you skip the input-eating window.Webbed - Almost Balloonless with Wood Chip (Old Setup)Shadow the Past2021-09-20 | The wood chip is way lighter than the small rock, which makes the item hover go 4x faster. However, this is riskier, as the wood chip can break, as well as get destabilized more easily than the rock. It works best if you hold the chip on the very tip. This saves maybe 10 seconds over the rock.Webbed - 100% (All Stickers) Former WR Speedrun - 44:45Shadow the Past2021-09-19 | A little better.Webbed - All Stickers - 49:17Shadow the Past2021-09-19 | Wasted like three minutes on one fly in the bee area lmao.Sky Bower Early (Not Any% Legal)Shadow the Past2021-09-19 | When opening the journal as you enter the hub, all physics objects in the hub start to fall, including the floating islands. Keeping it open for a few moments will have the islands fall to the top of the canopy.
Next, I quickly walk between the two loading zones during the loads, in order to get "inside" the loading zone. However, the camera is still forcing me on screen, so I can't get out of bounds.
Next, after loading into a save that's about to start the bird fight, the camera will become glitched for all saves, until you either enter a loading zone or quit the game. I get the camera glitch, then go back to my original run.
With the glitched camera, I'm now able to get out of bounds in the hub after loading on the other side of the loading zone. Going around the outside, I can then grab onto an island and blast myself up to the Sky Bower.
Since a save has to be prepared ahead of time to get the camera glitch, this trick isn't allowed for leaderboard runs, unless another spot to get the camera glitch is found.Webbed - Any% Former WR Speedrun - 23:36Shadow the Past2021-09-19 | Current WR (18 : 22): youtube.com/watch?v=l3SantSA0CY

Honestly surprised I PB'd by this much.Webbed - Dung 1 Skip (Reverse Mudslide + Journal Transition)Shadow the Past2021-09-17 | If you try to enter the mudslide area from the ant-side before coming in from the top via the dung beetle side, there will be a giant metal door blocking the way.
If you do a Journal Transition as you're flinging into the mudslide (open the journal as the next room loads), the metal door will "fall" off the map as your character is flung into the room. If you hear the dunebug area music while still looking at the ant screen, then you timed it correctly. (You should also hear the spider "plop" in the mud after a moment.)
The door will snap back into place after you close the journal, so wait long enough for your character to actually get inside.
Potentially saves ~20 seconds in the Any% route.Webbed - Moth Skip via Journal TransitionShadow the Past2021-09-17 | If you open the journal as you enter a loading zone, any physics objects in the next room will begin to fall, including NPCs, until you close the journal. Flying NPCs like the moth will fall through the ground, then fly back up to their normal spot when the journal is closed. You can use this to skip the Moth dialogue at the beginning of the game, just avoid him as he's coming back up. Saves about 5-7 seconds.Webbed - Any% Former WR Speedrun - 25:37Shadow the Past2021-09-16 | Now with 95% less balloon (haha already made that joke haha.)
Sub 25 is probably possible, which is uh, scary.Webbed - Any% - 27:07Shadow the Past2021-09-16 | Now with 95% less balloon. Still can easily push it down into sub 27.Webbed - Sky Bower Almost BalloonlessShadow the Past2021-09-16 | This is somewhat risky. After the balloon passes a certain point, all webs become solid, which can result in the balloon being unrepairable, which will require ringing the bell to fix it.
You have to get through the treeline before it closes, while also not getting kidnapped by the princess before the balloon breaks.
You can also just put the small rock on the balloon platform, no need to dangle it in the air like that beforehand.Webbed - Any% - 28:04Shadow the Past2021-09-15 | New route with the Reverse Mudslide trick I found. Could've sub 28'd but alas.
Okay, NOW time to do the All Stickers category.Webbed - Reverse MudslideShadow the Past2021-09-14 | Note that you MUST enter the landslide area via the dung beetle path first. If you don't, if you try to go up to the mudslide area from the ant power area, there will be a big metal door blocking your way. This door only opens if you enter from the dung beetle path first.
Getting the loading zone to trigger when slinging up seems to be dependent on speed. Be sure not to bonk on your way up or it may not work.
Also, for the sling up from the ant area, you can alternatively use the small rock to item hover up to the loading zone.
This looks to save maybe ~30-45 seconds on the Any% route by skipping the entrance elevator puzzle.Webbed - Any% - 29:31Shadow the Past2021-09-14 | The first sub 30 woo, unfortunate death during the escort.
