It was inspired by a temporary break up with someone I was seeing back then - the emotions of which made me pour my heart-break out into this song. Today, 10 years later when I think of that entire situation, it seems like such a minor inconvenience but back then, it felt like my entire world was collapsing. And I guess, that’s exactly what new, young love feels like - explosive and crazy. 🗣☄️

"Alag Aasmaan" is a song that I released back in August 2020 and since then this independent release has received more than 20 million streams across all platforms. An acoustic version of the song is my way of thanking each and every person who helped me cross this number.

This stripped down, guitar only version of the song was recorded 100% LIVE with me singing the entire song in one go while playing the guitar. Having no cuts gives this version the raw feeling that I was looking for. It almost turns this into a brand new single (hah).

This is exactly how I've been singing this song at all my shows and it'll give the listeners, who haven't gotten the opportunity to hear me live yet, an insight into what it sounds like standing in the crowd.
