I know it's way past the time to talk about any of this but I hope you enjoyed the edit ♥ I just knew I had to edit Pokeshipping with ATL or The Maine for you, all I needed was to choose a song which was harder than I expected sdghksdghskd. Thank you for being the first one to post your spotify wrapped, literally saved my life :) Why the retro theme? Only god knows and I regretted it a little halfway, but I hope it was worth it in the end... I just thought it would look nice with nostalgia aspect I was trying to go for.

Now that I think about it, I dont keep up with people. I dont really hold onto relationships and that might make me cold-hearted.

Does something classify as a vent edit, even if it was made almost 24 hours after feeling vent-y? Who knows!! But thats basically what it is. Deteriorating mental health go brr, but I think were all feeling it with lockdown and the stress of everything else piling up.
I was thinking about this project idea last night too and I still felt like doing it now, so that must count for something. The way I feel about Shimamura is really complex honestly, because I FEEL her, but at the same time I dont? I suppose the best way to put it is that we share similar struggles with similar consequences, yet different reasons for those things. I dont really agree with her attitude, but some of her flaws were uncomfortably familiar... Its something Ive felt insecure about for a while too, so seeing it presented on screen even to some extend was an interesting experience.
Other than me being edgy, I really like how this turned out despite the easy-going raw. ngl most of it gets carried by the song because Im in love with it sdgjsjdghsdkg but yeah, lesbian rights!!

the storyline is basically focused on Jamie but its the same as with every amv of her so far: you can decide yourself if you want to go with it being her or just canon James. Even though some hidden parts of the story involving the lyrics might get confusing or unnoticed that way.
In case you arent caught up with my Jamie idea here is the basic story behind this edit:
Basically James is acutally girl but due to the place he was born in, her family needs a male heir for their company so thats the way (s)he grew up to be. But actually being a boy needs more than just different habits and etiquette like hormone pills and other things. But no matter how hard (s)he tried to please her parents, it was never good enough leaving her with a lot of desperation and self-doubt. (S)he tried to gain distance from home by going to PokéTech where (s)he met Jessie who convinced James to live her own life and be free from her parents without knowing about her true situation. Never knowing anything else, James continued to live as a guy. (S)he didnt mind it but it didnt feel completely right either.
