In Sakhu, in the Thalang district, just south of the Phuket airport you will find Phuket Peninsula Spa & Resort sitting on a hill overlooking the Nai Yang Beach. It's the luxury hotel that never was. (8°05’02.4″N 98°17’12.2″E) (37MP+JP3)

It is safe to explore as long as you watch your step and don't fall down an elevator shaft, and as night falls the bats that sleep during the day down the basement wake up, so be careful!
