In this part, Phoenix explains that Rimes did not see the penguin, because he was inside the drained show pool at the time. He tricked Sasha into helping him move the body into the orca tank. Blackquill counters by asking how Rimes caused the orca to do her tricks.
Phoenix is forced to ask for testimony from the orca. Trial takes a brief recess, so he can talk to the other characters. When trial resumes, Phoenix demonstrates that you can make the orca do tricks, by playing videos on Rimes' phone. They show off the lifesaver trick.
