Meet Dr Benjamin Wegener, a #MonashScience PhD alumnus from the School of Biological Sciences whose thesis centred around evolutionary biology.

Ben discusses the immense commitment involved in completing a PhD, realities of working in academia and how skills gained through his research allowed him to excel in a corporate environment.

He currently works as a Partner and Chief Data Scientist for a global public relations and communications firm.
