Anyway, I tried to put some book moments here like the moment when Tessa thinks it is a dream and she hugs Will but gets scared she hurt him and he just says "I don't care"; or their love of books and bickering; or how Tessa watched Will go down all the wrong paths bc he thought he doesn't deserve love. I went through your playlist and this song started... I immediately thought "whoa, I see this forbidden romance, I see two people going against the whole world, facing tragedy after tragedy and just wishing to be together in peace, far from war, judgement and pain". And Andromeda & Ted are EXACTLY this. Their story is so tragic when you think about it? We know so little about them, but we know they went against her very powerful pure-blood family, against rising danger that muggle-borns faced, against war brewing in the air. And then they suffered. And Andromeda - this powerful, amazing woman - left alone when another war took her husband and daughter. Such a tragic story. I had to vid them, at least a little piece of them. And you had them on your list so... here it is! I hope you will enjoy it and please know, it was such a joy to vid for you. I will never not be in awe watching your edits when each and one of them is making me feel so much emotions. Never stop!As to the story in the vid:As I already mentioned, there is not much known about either Ted Tonks or Andromeda Black. We know she had two sisters, Narcissa and Bellatrix. She went against her family beliefs and married a muggle-born wizard, was cast away and never contacted her family again. She had a daughter - Nymphadora. We know even less about Ted, only the end of his story. So I had a liberty of going with headcanons for this one and whew, what fun it was! I see Ted as a Hufflepuff (as his daughter) and a very cheerful, rebellious soul. Not rebellious in a troublesome manner like Marauders but more like a person who is aware of being and outcast and deals with it with humour and wit. He is intelligent and aware that beautiful Andromeda Black is not like her sisters. He sees that she doubts her family beliefs and tends to have rather controversial opinions on her own. It drawns him to her, even when she is very reluctant to behave friendly towards him. She doesn't care about his blood status but she is aware of what her family would do if they knew she mingles in such company. She was, as most pure-bloods, promised to another member of Sacred Twenty-Eight. In my headcanon, after studying the Black family tree I figured one of Parkinsons was a safe bet (aka no blood connection in past and future). But she cannot help herself. She finds herself thinking about this silly Hufflepuff too often and feeling weird things when he is around. She fights it, she does. But only for so long. I thought that Andromeda's family was a big part of their story, so I added them. Their reactions. Angry and violent Bellatrix, scared and compliant Narcissa, rebelious and charming Sirius. Her mother, trying to control her. Her grandmother doing the same. I was really kind of overwhelmed by some of the first chapters and couldn't understand how in the hell it is a story where I supposed to ship Dramione. Because it really seems wrong at first. But I'll tell you what Zoé (SunnyVids) told me when I was about to just drop it: just live through first 25 chapters and it will make sense when the plot twist hits. And after that it is still draining and dark but you just cannot stop because you need to know how this twisted tale will end. Is happy ending even possible?Anyway I recommend if you are not triggered by descriptions of abuse, anxiety, PTSD, panic attacks and a other traumatic experiences (I suppose if you handled The Handmaid's Tale you will handle that too). It left me broken but very impressed as you can probably tell considering I do not make vids for many fanfics. My edit may contain spoilers but I tried to make it non linear and not put context everywhere so it is not that telling if you haven't read (well some parts are so be warned).Obviously there are some moments that I adjusted to the scenes and voice-overs that I had because well... She shows off her fire magic and dragons to spread fear and respect. Octavia tries to approach Daenerys peacefully but refuses to recognize her as the rightful Queen. I suppose that's where the story in the vid begins.Tyrion here, is Dany's advisor who fled with her when rebellion ignited and through years when she rose in power he observed her slow descend into violent ways. He recognizes Octavia as a chance to stop Daenerys from becoming the doom of the Kingdom. Daenerys respects Octavia for how she gained the loyalty of the whole Kingdom and doesn't want to kill her - she'd like to make her some kind of advisor, hand maybe? But Octavia keeps refusing to bend the knee. She sees Dany as a threat to her country but is aware of her power and strong will. She sees some reflections of herself in the Dragon Queen. What comes later is... well, a mess. Passive-agressive game of fascination, fear and respect. Octavia knows he should get rid of Daenerys but she grows attached to her to the point where instead of taking her life she saves it. Twice. Things get warmer between them, passionate even. There seems to be hope for some kind of coalition, cooperation. Octavia is hopeful.But it appears that Daenerys has only warmed her heart towards Octavia. Her brutality strikes again and she burns the whole city of people who refused to accept her rule. It is a final blow. Octavia knows she has to kill her. She decides to play in Dragon Queen's game and show her own brutal power. She kills her royal servant, Jorah. Daenerys is shaken but she realizes then that her heart is in this tragic position, where it belongs to the Chosen Queen no matter what she does. She clings to violence and her vision where they both can still rule together. But they can't. He died doing what he have vowed to do - protecting his Queen, love of his life. And he died in peace, only after he made sure she was safe. And Emilia's acting here? Those raw, deep emotions? This shot with Drogon curling aroun them?EVEN BY DESCRIBING IT I FEEL LIKE CRYING AGAIN.I have never shipped them romantically as... well that would be quite creepy. But I always appericiated this deep devotion and loyalty from Jorah and the fact that he was one of not many people who were able to bring up very intense emotions in Dany and saw her vulnerable, gentle heart. Which I hope, after those scenes, is stil there and the writers won't destroy her by some rushed and messy mad queen storyline. I DO NOT AGREE. They were always each others home in a sense, something they both have been desperately seeking. And they found this glimpse of belonging here.Ok, so that's it. At the same time there was something about Katniss that she admired - some kind of wild force that surrounded her. She gave her a chance and when they came to know each other, the admiration became mutual. They developed secret feelings towards each other, well hidden as the games were never ending. And just as they both came back to their districts to watch the horrors of the next Hunger Games it was anounced that the tributes will be chosen from the living winners. Both Clarke and Katniss were devastated as they were the only living female winners of their districts. The realisation that they will be forced to fight each other fell upon them. When they met in The Capitol it was really hard for them and things became even worse on the arena. Not long after the beginning they have decided to end this together and eat poisonous berries. They were interupted by rescue mission from District 13, where they were then taken and introduced to the rebellion. The time in 13 went pretty much like in canon but then the warning came and as the Capitol have attacked 13 they kidnapped Clarke. Katniss was devastated and went with the rescue mission to get Clarke back and kill Snow. However, when she finally faced her beloved, they were once again parted. Daenerys pictures him incredible future their union will bring to the world. Northern men are still suspictious of foreign Queen but Robb doesn't let any doubt about his wife into his thoughts.Then Dany goes into labour, very painful and bloody one. When she wakes up after night of terror she finds out boy didn't survive. Robb is devastated and so is Daenerys. She feels hopeless, stuck in never ending war. She believes there is nothing left to lose and that her husband will never take more risky step in this war. She takes her army and dragons and attacks Lannisters without Robb's consent.He is furious, finally seeing how violent and dangerous Daenerys is. We have Lily and James' wedding, little Harry being everyone's favourite, Peter who cannot deal with fear and betrayal he is about to commit, Remus being Remus - worried about hurting somebody. Finally we see James and Lily hearing The Prophecy, their death and how Sirius understood that Peter betrayed them.Besides those, there are few character studies.And yeah, Marlene here is Sirius' big love and yes, she is brunette in my mind lmao. He leaves Sansa, thinking she chose his brother.Than her hell begins. Jofferey showes his darkest side, torturing Sansa in anger on his treacherous brother. He treatens her he will kill him.Francis' rebelion gets to the Westeros and he manages to kill Joffrey, considered as even more Mad King than his father ever was. Sansa confessess to the council that Francis is a true saviour and North will see him as a hero.When they are free, they decide to go to Winterfell and stay there together.OMG THATS SO LONG!
