We streamed live on Tuesday, August 13th, as KIDD was raised onto her keel blocks. We promised viewers that if they reached a certain amount in donations, Executive Director Parks Stephenson would recreate a scene from James Cameron's little-known indie film, Titanic.

Parks's research and diving experience on the Titanic led him to the USS KIDD. Through his research he discovered that THIS is how the famous door scene actually went down.
