Spent the weekend at a PA Outdoor YouTube Creator Meetup at Black Moshannon State Park and honestly… it turned out way cooler than I expected. 🌲🎥
What started as “Hey Kurt, wanna go camping?” turned into a laid back weekend full of hiking, camp cooking, new trails, good conversations, and finally meeting some creators I’ve been talking to online for years. We explored the Bog Trail, checked out the cabins and lake loop, talked gear, tested camp meals, and even got a little history lesson from DCNR about the park and the old Rattlesnake Pike.
Huge thanks to Old Dude On A Trail for organizing everything and hosting the event. Great campsite, great people, and a really relaxed atmosphere. Definitely not the nonstop-camera chaos I imagined. 😂
Also… I may or may not have fallen out of my hammock in the middle of the night while testing new Hemlock Mountain Outdoors gear. Field testing gets real sometimes. 🌙💥

Black Moshannon is a beautiful park and I’ll definitely be back.
