CBC News Report - Parkour Toronto (part 1 of 2) Dan Iaboni 2007-12-03 | CBC had admitted to me, they came into this story with the angle of covering an extreme sport, a dangerous sport, and a sport that they couldn't see going very far. They were expecting me to show up and just go huge for them, show off for the camera, and pack my bags up at the end. But after spending some time with them they changed their opinions pretty fast. They came out to train, came out to the community center, came out to our big jam. They soon learned that what we do is in fact the opposite of what they were going to report about. I and others weren't going to show off for them, and this community certainly was a lot different then they expected. Thanks again to CBC for coming out and learning more about Parkour and portraying it a non glamorized, non extreme, non competitive way.

Summer 2007 Dan Iaboni 2008-07-25 | (VIEW IN HIGH QUALITY) In 2007, pkTO decided to host a 2-day Summer gathering, for its 3rd annual meet. First day consisted of training at Ashbridges bay park, where we played with rocks, sand and surf, just having fun. Second day was back to norm, at Queens park, after participating in a warm-up, we made our way to the various spots around Toronto. Again, just having a fun time overall. Summer 2008...coming soon.
Summer 2006 Dan Iaboni 2008-07-25 | (VIEW IN HIGH QUALITY) In 2006, pkTO held it's 2nd, now annual Summer gathering. With very little advertising, we still managed to have over 100 in attendance, from various cities across ontario. We all came together not just for the love of Parkour or other practices, no...we came to enjoy each others company, make new friends, laugh and overall to have a great fun time. Summer 2005 Dan Iaboni 2008-05-30 | (VIEW IN HIGH QUALITY) In the summer of 2005, pkTO held its 1st Summer gathering. Bringing together over 100 people from across Ontario, some traveling from other provinces and states. The goal or purpose behind such event was simple...bring together everyone for a weekend to just have fun, make new friends and Train! This was the first of many good things to come for pkTO. Much Adrenaline - Parkour Toronto Dan Iaboni 2007-12-03 | Filmed in Downtown Toronto's "Cloud Gardens" on a scorchingly hot day of 44deg Cel. I don't think I was extreme enough for their segment. "Parkour 101" was supposed to go over the basics of Parkour, but after watching the other stuff they put on this show I see why they cut it all out. ;) Parkour isn't something extreme, it's honestly something for everyone.

CBC Gill Deacon Show - Parkour Toronto Dan Iaboni 2007-12-02 | Gill Deacon segment on parkour. Couldn't find it under Gill Deacon, but lucky enough it seemed to have aired in Vancouver where we found it on a website. Go 'super mario'! I sat out on this one and got to play coordinator coming up with some routes and things for them to do on camera. Fun time and I'm happy to see Andrew on camera.
