Why I Love Monsters University Charlton Hawkins 2014-09-06 | PLEASE READMonsters Inc. was one of my favorite films as a kid... It had a great story, loveable characters and was a big hit at the box office. Just over 10 years later and Monsters University hit screens, to be honest I never really had an interest as I thought it was just going to be your average money making sequel... How wrong I was...This film for some reason had an emotional impact on me, probably because of the UN-Disney like moral to the story... "Sometimes in life you can fail... But that doesn't make you a failure." Some people didn't like the way they ended the film, but I thought it was an amazing way to show how even characters in kids movies might not always get what they want...But you always have another choice.Some may call this a tribute video, others may call it an extended trailer... to be completely honest i don't know what the hell I have edited here... I really enjoyed remastering Tarzan's trailer so I thought I'd remaster my other childhood favorite... Treasure Planet!Once again, ripped in 1080p from the Blu-ray. Re-edited shot-by-shot to the original trailer, the titles and flash effects are all new and have been added to reflect the originals, there are some differences (most noticeably my name at the end!) and a few minor details, however I think you will enjoy this wonderfully remastered trailer.Music in this one is slightly remastered, I found the original source music that was used for the trailer and added it on top of the existing soundtrack, it doesn't really make that much of a difference but it still sounds great! :)Enjoy!
Tarzan 1999 Blu-ray Theatrical Trailer Digitally Remastered Charlton Hawkins 2014-05-23 | \/\/\/ PLEASE READ! \/\/\/Since Tarzan is one of my favorite childhood films and it's getting a proper Blu-ray release later this year, I thought I'd give a little tribute to this amazing Disney Classic by Digitally Remastering the Original Theatrical Trailer and tweaking it slightly to celebrate a Blu-ray release!Using the UK's early Blu-ray release, I pieced together frame-by-frame each part of the trailer using a 240p video off YouTube as a reference, the only thing that hasn't been remastered is the the sound which i wish i had a better quality version of. There are some glitches with the video here and there but this is mainly due to the Blu-ray video converter not doing it's job properly!I spent a great many hours editing this all together (better part of an afternoon) and technically this is at the moment the only High Definition version of this Trailer on YouTube. ENJOY!!P.S. Movie World, add speakers inside the coaster train that plays the theme, with some subwoofers under the seats, the theme is synced up to the existing sound system and it plays the theme as your on the coaster, along with sirens and alarms to build tension, and the climax when the coaster shoots forward!...i think it would give a definite boost to the cinematic feel! Classic Seaworld (Remembering the 90s) Charlton Hawkins 2013-03-09 | This jingle was used for Sea World in the 90's, it was taken from the 1994 Souvenir Video. Footage was taken from both 1994 and 1990 Souvenir Video's and re-edited in time with the music.Also i grabbed the Sea World Logo and created a flying 3D logo for the climax of the video, amazingly i think it worked quite well in combination with the 90's music and footage. The reason i made this was because Sea World on the Gold Coast was one of my favorite parks when i was a kid, i loved the Bermuda Triangle and the Pirate Ship, but sadly they have now been decommissioned.So enjoy a little blast from the past with Sea World - You Gotta Sea This!
The Disney Afternoon (Soundtrack Remastered) Charlton Hawkins 2013-02-27 | I had once done the same sort of "Remaster" for the Gummi Bears, i later found out that the Gummi Bears were aired as part of The Disney Afternoon over in the US in the 90's (Which has a pretty damn catchy tune I think) Using the music from the official CD of the show, i overlapped the youtube footage's sound with the CD audio while syncing it up. There are 2 reasons for doing this. First being that "Standard" content is sometimes annoying with the black bars on the Left and Right of the screen, and secondly i wanted to keep the videos original Aspect Ratio instead of squeezing out the video to Widescreen, so i just replaced the black bars with a blurred version of the video playing to fill it out a bit. (A trick used by some TV news channels when displaying content of different ratios)
