LucidSunrise 2011-05-24 | READ THE DESCRIPTION FOR INSTRUCTIONSNo hacks involved, everything in this video is reproducible on an original game boy, with a real cartridge.This is the earliest point in the game where you can catch Mew; Just after coming out of Mount MoonHow to do it: - Catch an abra, you need to use it's teleport ability - Make sure you've healed your pokemon at the pokemon centre here before you go any further.. otherwise you'll teleport back to the start of Mt. Moon! - First thing in the video, stand where I'm standing, then walk down one square and push the start button immediately after pushing down. If you did it right then the menu will open up before the trainer can challenge you - Go to pokemon, and then use Abra's teleport ability to get out of there - Walk to the trainer that I do next, and make sure you don't get into any fights on the way - Battle the trainer with the slowpoke, win - Then walk back the way you came, avoid all fights again - Once you reach the area where you teleported from, your start menu will pop open, close it - Then Mew will appear! Battle him, weaken him, and then catch himCongratulations, you now have a Mew! :)If anyone wants to know why this works then leave a comment, and I'll explain
