Except he dies at the end of part 3, and then his sister doesn't show up again. - Halfway through part 3, Shirazu from the quinx squad meets a pink haired ghoul investigator and they flirt. They then proceed to not talk to each other for the next few episodes, until the end, when they both die at the same time in completely different places. - Halfway through part 3, the plot switches track for about 3 episodes to be about, Master Shoe being really sad about Kaneki not existing, so for the third QUARTER of part 3, he KEEPS being sad about it, while a bunch of other people, including one guy with a hilariously bad german accent that it's impossible to take seriously, just try and deal with it. Then, the german guy dies and Master Shoe does nothing for the whole of part 4 - In part 2, Kaneki breaks a guy out of Cochlea. I'm glad he wasn't incredibly dangerous, or he might've shown up again at some point… - There's a guy with a patch on his face who shows up in part 3 and is mostly followed around by the evil man. Patchwork man's main job in part 3 is to make a video of himself torturing a ghoul, to make the ghoul's friends angry, so they come out and he can fight them. This makes him SEEM very powerful, or at least very confident. Unfortunately, when they do actually come and find him, he dies immediately. - A random guy from Suzuya's squad meets a lady in a bakery (Apparently, that's Yoriko, Touka's friend from part 1 and 2), and they get married in part 4. But, because they both look very generic, when Touka and Kaneki get married in the episode after that, you end up thinking "hang on, but wait, didn't they already do that?" or, was that Amon and Mado? But the hair was wrong… who were they?? - Then, in the middle of part 4, Yoriko gets arrested for being suspected of harbouring a ghoul (since Touka is a ghoul), which is something she never actually knew about. Urie and the child from the quinx squad mention it once, but then we never see if she gets released or not. - In addition to the zombies, the evil man made an army of different looking idiots with white faces. Why? That's never explained. It seems that Doctor Kanou had something to do with it, but the last time we see him, he doesn't mention it and then… shoots himself… why? I guess he was just fed up of being in this show… - In the final fight, Uta the mask man is sent to attack Renji, but there's a flashback about how they used to know each other, and then they just go "oh wow, maybe let's not attack each other!" And then they just stop. - Near the end of part 4, there's a whole section where Rize comes to Kaneki in a dream and she's like "hey, you know you… killed a bunch of people right?" And Kaneki's like "woah shit my bad". This one is extra insulting, because it's like Kaneki saying "what, you mean I was supposed to be trying to work together with the humans this whole time? No-one told me!!" - In part 3 episode 7, two women get introduced, and at the end, they die, and nothing happens with them in between those two points. - Master Shoe's dad sacrifices himself so that Master Shoe can escape without being seen, and then he just shows up later like nothing happened. - The caves at the end with the green pods in are stated to be full of ghoul juice, which is why Kaneki and Ayato go down there with masks, because it would be bad for them. However, Kaneki then takes off his mask and he's… just fine. Which begs the question… Why did the writers even put this in in the first place?? - At one point, some people come to confront the Evil Guy, but they don't bring weapons, which was very foolish, because if you know that evil man is evil, and he's in the Washuu clan, and the Washuu clan are made of ghouls, then that's maybe a bit silly to not bring weapons isn't it - Halfway through part 4, some clowns attack a carnival, and then Evil Guy is like… "oh we'd better protect all these innocent people" but all the way through the fight, the music is playing random notes on a piano and it looks like Evil Guy is playing chess, to imply that this attack means something bigger, even though this attack has NO later repercussions and does NOTHING for the plot and is also never brought up again.
