"Hello friends, investors, test subjects. Fan of Cave Johnson here. And let me tell you, have I got something to share today. A couple days ago one of the test subjects found her way into the gates of hell. Couldn't stop her if we tried. Somewhere down there she tested and re-tested everything we thought was good and buried for ages. Apparently a solid multi-layered enormous hatch door can't keep everything out like the engineers said it would. So, Cave went ahead and fired their descendants. Didn't need 'em anyway."
"We found these pre-recorded messages shortly after and here we are today. Now,all the tapes were covered in mold, asbestos, moon dust, repulsion gel, or some combination of otherwise highly dangerous and lethal substances that would kill anything that got within fifteen feet of it. But we had to get what we could! For science."
"We ran out of employees to re-record the tapes and we got some more sitting around. When we get the funding, believe me, they will be heard again. We are also recruiting new test subjects for the same test. Average commitment is about seven minutes. And there's sixty bucks at the end of it. If you're interested, let a test associate know. Fan of Cave Johnson, we're done here."

This is the only time I've managed to beat course 3 in the 20 years I've been playing, and I'm just glad I had the foresight to record it.
Good luck!NiGHTS into Dreams HD - 1080pTurbolence882011-07-02 | UPDATE July 8, 2012: This is NOT gameplay footage from the upcoming NiGHTS into Dreams HD re-release on XBOX360, PSN, or PC. This is footage recorded nearly a year ago and captured from an emulator running the 2008 Japan-only PS2 re-release.
Demonstration of what PCSX2 and the right settings can do. Full 1080p rendering, no stretching here. Overlay and other 2D sprites get stretched but hey. Plays 100% full speed at this resolution on my machine (specs below). Absolutely stunning.
Imagine...this is what it would look like on your 360 or ps3! Head to www.nid15.com and show your support!
Gameplay recorded at 1080p using FRAPS. Even my mighty i3 couldn't handle it. Video was essentially recorded at half speed, then doubled when it hit the video editor. As with any stretching and compressing, the audio artifacts a bit but still came out all right for the most part. Expect a few more videos of this in the near future, and possibly even a 3D video (which for the sake of my sanity will likely be 720p as opposed to 1080).

This time, the guile theme wasn't enough.
Also Toilet is OP. Crapcom really needs to rebalance him for the next Street Plunger.

Demo video of San Francisco RUSH: The Rock - Alcatraz Edition in MAME. Filmed using MAME's AVI recording feature (8.5GB for 2:37? Pfft). Used version 0.141, 64bit build.
This game uses the Atari Flagstaff hardware, which features a MIPS R5000 based processor at 200mhz, 8MB system memory, twin 3DFX video processors, a 33MHz sound processor, and a hard drive for storing game data. The fact it's emulated at all, and that modern computers can run it at full speed is a miracle.
As of MAME 0.141, Flagstaff emulation is very well done. There are minor graphical glitches, mostly relating to alpha blending and transparency. Nearly all functions are perfectly emulated, save for networking, which as far as I'm aware returns basically a null loop. This worked fine for the original San Francisco Rush, but this edition runs into an infinite loop looking for communication from another machine that doesn't exist, even in "solo" mode. Hence, there is no gameplay video since you can't get past the menus.
The only two home conversions aren't that great; it's a shame that this comes so close. I'm sure the MAME devs will pull through at some point, but until then the excruciating waiting game continues...

My first music video. Took a few late nights to get this one done. Strange how many connections the song, video, and game make with each other.
