Radiomaster MT12 Protocol and Latency TestingJacob Scherer2023-12-13 | The new Radiomaster MT12 is here! Let’s test out all the different protocols I have access to and see how they perform with actual latency measurements!

Buckle up, because we are getting pretty technical with this one... Feel free to pause or slow the video down. Also feel free to ask a question in the comments below!
Note, if you need to trim or reverse a servo, I suggest doing so in the Outputs screen and leaving the Mixes alone.
Another note, instead of turning the Global Var into an Input and then using that Input as a multiplier in the Mixes, you can also directly use a Global Var as the weight in the Mixes tab. I recently re-learned that after making and posting this video... Let me know if you want to see an update to this video with that method of setup instead.
As you may be able to hear, I also added Special Functions to play audio files for the different modes, but, I didn't go over how to do that. Originally I wanted to wait until there were official sounds to post directions on how to do that. I've opened a request with the Official EdgeTX Sounds team to add the sounds there, but until then, here is a GitHub link for the audio files I made: github.com/jakezilla/FourWheelSteerSounds Add those sounds to your SD Card and add Special Functions to play the tracks when your Drive Mode is active.

I've already posted a video on this, but had some suggestions, and this is the update!
Note 1 - Make sure to calibrate your ESCs without any overdrive active. Note 2 - Most modern ESCs will calibrate just fine with full throttle being 100% or -100%, but if yours doesn't, you can invert the channel on the Outputs screen.

Here I show you the easiest way I know of to configure the 2 way momentary trim switches to do different common outputs.

The only thing that hotter is the discussion around when everyone is going to see one!
In this video I try to use some facts and some educated guessing to estimate when I’ll see my bike that I ordered on June 27th.

The low speed functionality is just outstanding with the Furitek. The lack of whine at low speeds is super nice too. I know the Axial V2 electronics are much quieter than the V1, but I really don’t like the V2 transmitter’s lack of High-Medium-Low speed settings, and the ergonomics just aren’t as good for me.
I didn’t record it, but I was just messing around on some indoor obstacles, and I genuinely think having better low speed control makes it noticeably easier to get through some tricky lines. What Ive learned about the SCX24, Part 3, Tires and RimsJacob Scherer2022-03-08 | Awesome tire spec tire collection http://ccrcadventures.com/1-0-tire-comparison

John's got his car running out FAST, but Minnesota exists in a vacuum. We haven't had any cross pollination, so it is hard to know where we would sit against the fastest NoPrep guys.

As AndyRC points out, GoPro didn't invent it, but it often is associated with them.
Note to the keen eyed viewers, my DC3 is flying here with a cracked arm, so I'm getting some vibrations.

I made a case to mount the URUAV v2 analog module adapter to the DJI FPV Goggles. Only additional hardware requried is a GoPro screw and nut. You can use a standard M5x20 screw and M5 nut if you don't have GoPro stuff laying around.
I also highly suggest removing the switch from the URUAV v2 board and just jumpering the bottom two holes. I've seen a lot of these types of switches go bad over time.Social Distancing RC Fun (sorry for the length) (lol)Jacob Scherer2020-04-13 | Not ones to let this situation get us down, a few buddies and I met up to tear up a local park! While, of course, following recommended guidelines for distancing and sanitation. Radio Control by its nature lends itself to interacting at distance, and the parks are empty of leagues and sports, so let's take advantage of it!
Drinking game idea: drink every time someone says 'fun' or 'hoot'. (Just kidding, don't do that, you'll die)

Most people are under the impression that you need to pay a guy with a huge tow behind compressor to blow out your lines, but you really don't. I have 20 zones, with 95 3.2GPM heads, and with all 3 of these compressors I was able to run continuously keeping a pre-regulator pressure of 90PSI. I tested without Unit 1 connected and I was able to hold 60PSI. I'm sure I would have been able to do it with only the 10 gallon Harbor Freight compressor, with occasional breaks to let the pre-regulator pressure build up.
The 3 compressors are all on different electrical circuits so no breakers tripped. They are plumbed to a common manifold. From there, I have a ball valve for emergency isolation if needed. Then I have a regulator set to 55-60PSI which is about what my water well provides.
Unit 1 - My dad's Frankenpressor. Compressor is from a unit that cracked the tank. Tank is a 30 gallon Craftsmen unit that blew the compressor.
Unit 2 - Farm built unit; gift from my step dad. Compressor is of unknown origin and the tank is an old propane tank.
