As you can see, this rolling ball sculpture is a masterpiece of mechanical sequencing. The entire thing is purely mechanical, and driven from a camshaft in the base of the machine, with about 8 cams on it. This rotates very slowly to operate the arms, hands, head and mouth, etc. I think you have to be bonkers to think up something like this, let alone make it!
