Theme from The Peanuts Movie Christophe Beck 2016-08-23 | This is an early version of the "Peanuts" main theme. At this point I was trying really hard to score the movie as Vince Guaraldi would, that is, if Guaraldi had grown up in the 80's listening to Styx and Depeche Mode. Ultimately I ended up re-arranging this theme in a more traditional orchestral fashion, which is also the direction most of the score went. There's a lot more "Peanuts" music in this style so expect more in the coming weeks and months!

The chord progression is generated by sending alternating triggers to the L and R inputs, producing a pseudo-circle-of-fifths, with frequent randomly generated variations thereof... and could this sentence be any nerdier?Audio captured live from the modular and presented with minimal mixing and editing.
